yeah and you are probably one of those guys who thinks 2 hours on the slopes equals one day Interesting how different the snow is between CB and BB.. they both blew the same time and they are close to each other. BB's snow is of much better "quality" BB was more granular through out the day and CB was more slushy like.

hahhaha,, that feature is worth a pass by itself... keep me posted when they have blown enough snow and open it. Looks like a great photo op.

It was very good on saturday. I doubt anyone has anything close to what they have set up in our area. They have a great base and all the set ups were clean. The crews were frequently maintaining the small bomb holes. CB's holes were 5 times the size on sunday comapritively. They also mid day groomed the jumpline on saturday. I can't remember ever seeing any mountain regroom jumps mid day.

Man... that is going to chew up alot of snow. Is it designed just for disastering? no way to make that one a ride on. LOL!

I would speculate that Merry widow, the intermediate park would be best.

Justo - They are ultra focused. I don't know first hand how blue is holding up but Go and check BB out, it is worth the trip. Everyone is accessible and eager to hear feedback.. Seek them out and give them your thoughts. Soft snow condtions make merry widow tough but you if you clean the urban and come off the next box and not speed checkthe first jump you will carry enough speed into the second jump which has a huge run-out - (no danger of over shooting anything_ in other words. down to the huge battleship and up/down. Everyone seems to be stoked on the beginner park. Plenty of experts are getting in that park too. Kids were getting really creative with everything. Keep the pressure on. once you are at the top, it is too easy to fall down.

Lap top? BB has wireless in thier lodge. MIssed you yesterday? Say hi to the boys for us. we will be ther plenty during the break.

That freakin sucks!!! BB is in really good shape and I saw little if any melt off yesterday. It dropped several degrees below freezing last night.

The conditions were really good yesterday, weather considered. Things firmed up at about 4pm and I heard complaints, but the snow was a lot faster and those with skills didn't have any problems The jumps are nice. they could be tweaked to individual preferences but they were expert quality. nipples wanted more lip for easier corking for example.

This is really ironic coming from someone who washes cars and just got out of high school and lives at home with a country club life style. What do you know of any business or managing employees Jeff? Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Call me jeff, when you have a real job, that you earned and let me know how your adult life is going. It is also ironic that you guys wanted me to market this place, but guess what? You didn't like the way I was doing it or what I said needed to be done, so now you still sit with essentially no marketing, no snow perks from a powerful medium, basically just a hobby which is cool!!!!! I wonder if PL was challenged the same way. "we want to be the next Snow Park NZ, can you do it?" BB apparently didn't like the way they were doing it and.. Both points are very very correct. Most great and flamboyant leaders end up self destructing and typcially bring about thier demise by reasons of turmoil. Jeff knows that I rarely post on weekends. He also knows that I did not appreciate having my son dragged into a thread I made. This is probably his futile attempt at what, retaliation? That point has not been overlooked. Here again this is a board of snow lovers. Not ski resort employees. 99% of the people who post here probably do not know or care about the details of ski resort management. While I think I would have supported PL for one season - I do understand thier decision and will continue to support BB because I am convinced after what I saw yesterday that it will be the sickest Park in our area. did I mention they mid day groomed yesterday and they probably blew snow last night and that they have real jumps and jibs set up everywhere? This one is tough. Excellent managers, owners, CEO's hire experts in thier fields to run departments. BB's intent is apparently to have the best park in the region, however it was PL who was saying that. PL ran the place as it was thier own, there is nothing the matter with that as long as it was explained to the other employees that that was what was going to happen and to follow thier lead. how many licks does it take get to the center of a tootsie pop? Too bad we couldn't have run 2 separate paths... BB is looking really great and the fact that were readying the guns again last night plus I HAVE NEVER SEEN MID DAY GROOMING ON A JUMP RUN - things have and are seriously progressing there. To anyone who doesn't believe me. visit there today and check it out.

excellent condtions and plenty of coverage no thin areas worth talking about. Nipples hit the slopes at 8:30 am and we left at 9:30 that equals 6 doug days. Mid day grooming of merry widow!!!!!! not that it really needed it. no lift lines!! did I mention that it is cold enough and they are planning to blow more snow tonight? this computer won't do video clips... grrrrrrr.. A 30 and 25 footer or a 50 and 45 footer depending on how you measure. lots of jibs - get the list from the 12/15 update anyway, lots of new plans as soon as they can get more coverage. The name Big Boulder Park appears everywhere now. I haven't been to blue and I know the weather is hurting BC. so speculation on my part. But BB is probably winning the race.. LOL!

If you get this, find Ridge, apparently first day ski team is basics 101.. that doesn't do any good for him and will probably hurt. I'll tell him to look for you
