Phone and website is still not updated. I'm getting ready to head out. They should have it updated the evening before, just so you are aware of what might be open.
-
I thought 3pm is early for you .
-
It sucks when you can only get out in the morning, due to your schedule. It would be nice if they would open BB in the morning, until JF gets open.
-
They should put lights on more trails, before expanding.
-
I called today and was told that it's 1/2 price until they get more terrain open.
-
Same map they've been using. I still haven't figure out some of the phantom trails, either.
-
Probably because the same company runs both BB and JF and it wouldn't be cost effective to have two places with lights. I sort of like JF closing at 4, because it gives them a chance to groom it earlier. If it snows at night, the natural snow doesn't get groomed over as much.
-
I'm guessing Dec. 6th.
-
With all of the other places opening early, you'd think that they would push for an earlier opening, or at least open BB at 9am, until JF gets open.

Not sure how you would hit Sullivan's trail, coming from the east. I usually come over 80 from the west. Sullivan's trail is listed as rt. 4004, on the map.
-
From where? If you normally go from 80, you can hit 940 to Sullivan's trail, instead. It brings you out by Barley Creek Brewing.

I was debating on whether to go, or not, since I didn't have much time. I was glad I went, since Thursday will be a slacking day. I still think that Merry Widow, on the right side, had the best snow. I almost wanted to do a few more laps, on Widow, after my last run. I think this will be the last day of the season on my short skis...I'm tired of sliding turns. It was worth the 12 runs and 96000 vert .
-
I've only had about 7 posts since May and I know none of them have been arguments. You asked the question, "Who wants to hit the mountain alone and pay for gas and tools all by themselves?" I gave you an answer. Sorry for responding.

Learn a back way in and avoid the area around The Crossings Outlets. I was thinking of going. Hard to tell how crowded it will be, since a lot of people might be shopping.
-
Me. I use it as my unwind time and don't like to be bothered by which direction other people might want to go, and I can come and go when I want to.
-
I'm going Monday. How is the snow and coverage? I was thinking about taking my old skis, but thought that by now the coverage might be good enough for the good skis.
-
I called and they said they didn't start making snow yet at JF

CB is opening the mountain part on Dec. 5th>>>>>> www.skicamelback.com/SkiCamelback/Camelback-Mountain/Hours-of-Operation.aspx

Interesting addition this year....midnight madness on New Year's Eve.
-
I got the camel card >> 1/2 price tickets and every 3rd one is free. A lot cheaper than getting a second pass. Last year I got my second pass for Sno and spent about $350 on it and went 15 times. If I go to CB 15 times, with the card, I only spend $220....$22 x 10, since five of the passes will be free.

That would be sick if they added a super duper upside down box at the bottom

Hmmm. I was looking at getting a limited pass at CB for 08-09. The end of season really impressed me.

Two months behind .

It could have been money used to maintain other parts of the mountain.
