  1. But did they have a super duper upside down box??????????
  2. No super duper upside down box?
  3. I'm assuming that you mean due to the larger amount of snow produced? Otherwise, I don't see the comparison.
  4. Give up, he's not telling you his name. I know I wouldn't give somebody my name on the internet, to somebody who is constantly bugging me. It's almost predatorish. It might be time to lock my hijacked thread.
  5. The only way he can get in trouble is if he caves into the requests.
  6. IMO, that pipe was a waste of money and snow, that could have been put to better use, since it wasn't open until almost the end of the season.
  7. A year or two ago, I remember there was a person who claimed to be with the JF ski patrol, who would post info on here. His account and posts mysteriously disappeared .
  8. Hmmm....daytrip .
  9. I'm half tempted to turn into a jib honk for a day, to get 4 runs in to break my last year's total.
  10. I really didn't take notice to much, as far as parks go. I noticed a couple jumps on one trail, that shoots off of deer run, but that trail was closed off. I did notice that there weren't a whole lot of boarders or skiers with twin tips. The large number of plain old skiers kind of surprised me.
  11. A few phone pics from Mt. Snow 4-15-08.
  12. Definately. The only problem I run into is I don't feel like driving 5 hours, when there are places open around here.
  13. I took a couple with my phone, but haven't sent them to my email yet. They're probably not much that will excite anybody though.
  14. I left the house at 3:45 am and made it to Mt. Snow at 8:45 am. On the way up, I debated between Killington or Mt. Snow. I figured that Mt. Snow would have less people, it was probably 45 minutes closer, and it was supposed to be six degrees cooler at Mt. Snow (which would mean better conditions). I got dressed and was on the lift at 9:30. Coverage is edge to edge and they have a good amount of snow left. There is also still a lot of natural snow piles around the mountain, starting around West Dover. I got 18 runs in, in a four hour time period. It wasn't really crowded, but I had to wait one or two chairs each time, so there was a good turnout, for a Tuesday. This is the first time that I went anywhere in VT. and I was impressed with Mt. Snow. I grabbed something to eat, then headed home. I ended up having to stop twice to take naps and stopped a few times to get coffee and other drinks. It is definitely tiring to do a one day trip, when you get little sleep to begin with. I was debating about going back up this weekend, but I think I might just call it a season.
  15. I'm packed and heading to VT in about a half hour...either to Mount Snow of Killington. I'll make up my mind, once I get closer.
  16. I think the cold rain on Sunday actually helped to make the snow better / faster.
  17. Boulder park could be open for a while, if they took snow from the jumps.
  18. Nope, just flipping the tables.
  19. What's your name, TT C6?
  20. For me, it should be around a five hour trip, which won't be too bad. No, I've never been to VT. I figure 10 hours of driving + 1 hour for breaks + 4 hours for skiing = a 15 hour day. It shouldn't be too bad. I've done Belleayre two days in a row, which is a three hour drive, and I did that with 3 hours of sleep each night.
  21. If I go, it will be a one day trip. I fly solo and generally like to ski by myself, so I can go where I want, without having to worry about anybody else.
  22. I've cut through the area that you mentioned. I was looking for a way to cut over from near the bottom of thunderbolt (trail), to the triple and couldn't really find a good place. The problem that I've noticed is that the bottom of thunderbolt is in lower than the triple chair.
  23. Any way to clear a path from t-bolt over to the triple chair? It would make it easier/ quicker than having to use the east mt. lift, when the quad isn't running.
  24. I always thought the tubing guns should be relocated and could be put to better use, but never thought that they would be moved five hours away . The carriage guns are a smart choice, since they add more felxibilty. Spend some time at JF and speak with employees and managers and you will find out that a lot of information is not top secret. You will find out that everybody is pretty friendly, straight forward, and willing to speak with you and listen to you.
  25. Mount Snow's site says that they will be open until at least April 20th. I plan on getting there at least once. They are also giving $10 off, if you have a pass at another mountain.
