I slept in for my second day in a row and waited for the sun to soften up the snow. Earlier in the year I scheduled vacation days and this was supposed to be day #2 of a VT trip that I was hoping to do, but I skipped it because the resorts up there got hammered with rain and freezing rain from the last storm and some of them weren't sure on what they would have open on Monday (I called ahead), so I figured it would be just as well to stay around here. I got to JF at about 1pm and the snow was nice and soft. Floyd's was also back to being in decent shape (left side). The quad was also running again, which is a huge asset for hitting Challenge and Thunderbolt. It seems like it takes forever, when you have to use the east mt. lift for those two runs. I almost did a double day again and came close to going to Sno, but two days in a row like that are a little too much.
