    snow

It figures. I have to go to training Monday to Wednesday and will miss it .
  4. As long as it's not a monsoon, I'll be there.
  5. No, it didn't look like they blew anything.
  6. Yeah, to the best of my knowledge the whole mt. faces north. Plus JF sits down in and is shielded from a lot of direct sunlight. There is a ledge on lightning that always seems to pop out when it gets really warm, but that hasn't even happened. I was going to take a picture of the snow depth near one of the poles, but never got around to it. There is still a good amount of snow. The pics aren't the best, and the snow is actually better than what the pictures show.
  7. It was 33 degrees at 9 am and the snow had set up really nice, overnight. Everything was groomed and you couldn't even tell that the last few days were near 60 degrees. The groomers did an outstanding job . The snow was nice and firm and there were no bare spots. There might have been a couple really small spots that looked to be thinning out, but everything is in excellent condition. The snow is really holding up nicely. I took a few pics by camera and posted them in the pictures section: http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10497
  8. From JF, 1-10-08. From the conditions, you would never know that it was 50 to 60 degrees, the last few days. Excellent coverage and a great job done by the groomers. L to R : two pics of River Shot on East Mt., and Exhibition
  9. I'm taking the day off. I have to work in the afternoon.
  10. Mad tree glade and risk it are gladed "trails." They rely on natural snow, or snow that blows over into them. They are still there, they just aren't on the map anymore. Actually, the entire mountain is skiable. They have an open terrain policy. If there is snow on it, you can hit it.
  11. It looks like the afternoon will be the time to go on Wednesday, after things loosen up again. Nothing is listed on the conditions page as being groomed again, except for the park.
  12. Everything was ice, first thing in the morning , but started to losten up as the day went along. They didn't groom the trails, except for the park. I'm assuming that was to conserve snow. There was also a huge temp inversion of about 10 degrees, about midway down.

Did they loose a lot of snow? The site now has 10 trails closed.
  14. WMMR days must be jinxed, they're calling for rain on Friday .
  15. Pros: NF, nice wide blues Cons: Exposed mainface seems to be affected by the weather more, always seems to be rocks at the top of the NF lift and going down to cannonball (I never noticed if they do, but maybe blowing snow in the storage area for the cats would cut back on this?)

I hope to get there, in the next couple of weeks.
  17. You might want to look into that. Erin808 posted above that the tickets say that they are for JF only.
  18. I'll be there and my tickets will be be cheaper than 9.33
  19. The snow is definately holding up, really well. It was kind of flat and there were a couple icy spots at 9:00 am, but it lostened up and was really nice by 10 am. Edge to edge coverage on all slopes and no bare spots.
  20. Definately worth going. Today was sweet.
  21. Damn, my affect on women has carried over to a message board
  22. Yeap....limited
  23. Yes, because I don't want to have to bother with getting a ticket each time.
  24. I thought you gave up on normal priced tickets?
