Hopefully that will also include Exhibition. I like that trail for carving. I know it takes a shit load of snow to cover that trail, but if the temps hold out, they should be able to do that amount of terrain in a week. Of all the trails at JF, that one should have had fan guns put on it, due to the large amount of snow needed.

I called today and they said mid December .

Sorry to break the news, but it doesn't look like you'll be doing it this weekend. I called and they said that Dec. 8 is the tennative opening date, not this weekend .

I didn't go out Monday because I'm trying to get rid of a damn head/ chest cold that I got. I grew to like skiing in the rain, because of the soft snow, no crowds, and the rain seems to make the snow faster.

That's one of the things that actually got me interested in skiing

The middle run is Merry Widow. It was nice having another top to bottom trail open. FYI, snowdrift wasn't open...that was just Boulder that you were on. Snowdrift is the little section to skier's right, that looks like a half pipe.

I might head up for an hour. Just checked the web cam and they are blowing on Freedom and other trails. I want to head out early because I'm heading to the Woodlands with friends...Girls Gone Wild is there Friday night .

It's supposed to be 50, with a chance of drizzle in Lake Harmony. That should help slick up the snow a little.

Yes, because I didn't want to sit in a cold ass rain, especially the way they have been playing. I was also exhausted, so the sleep was welcomed.

Nope. I got bored, plus the snow was slow and I got tired of having to constatnly skate uphill to the lift . The skier's right side edge was pretty nice, though.
