Maybe they purposely don't advertise Boulder as being a park because they know that they would loose ticket sales.
-
BB is known as a beginner, family mountain, so you're going to have to deal with people in the parks who don't belong there. It's something that you'll have to deal with, if you want an "all park mountain."
-
Unless if they put lights in @ JF, then people who normally go at night won't be happy. At least keep a few trails empty, like mittl-weg, draufganger, and sitzmark.
-
Get rid of the park on Merry Widow.
-
There's times when I'll read from a public computer and don't log in.

Might not be a dick move, but it's a good way to break something.

Still do, and some do.

Ouch. Not smartstlye I learned to wear sunblock after being out in the sun for 5 hours, after having my hair buzzed off. I burned so bad that my head blistered, oozed and scabbed up.
-
Uh, oh....not Papasteeze approved. I have to admit that the backflip by the skier was pretty dumb.
-
Looks like nobody wore sunblock

How much of the trail was open? More than last year?
-
This heavy rain won't help.
-
Wouldn't that just be a matter of switching out the light bulbs, for white lighting.

I was going to go at 3am this morning, but decided to call it a season. They only have technically one groomed run open, from the top of the lift to the bottom, and the three trails make it a zig zag. I like to have a decent run to make some turns on...the zig zagging cuts down on that. They have some sort of race going on, anyway, which might mean more people than what I would want....the snow could end up being all lumped up way too quick.
-
I re-newed my pass back in March and already used the $50. I'm usually at JF at least three or four times a week.
-
Their site says that starting Monday, the superstar lift will be the only thing open. Why do they close the upper part of the mt.? Is it because of lack of snow cover?
-
Everything that you see on the web cam was closed, right before the snowmobile races...those trails weren't open during April. All of the snow on those trails was pushed around to form a race course, that's why it looks so bad. The trails on the east side of the mountain were open and in mid winter shape. I'm not sure how they are now, but BB trail should still have enough to go top to bottom. They would probably have to push a lot of snow around at the top and bottom of the lift, though.
-
It depends on what state and whether they have an agreement with them.
-
I didn't see anything on the website about where it's going to be.
-
According to their snow report, there are groomed runs open...click on the groomed trails link and it will list only the opened groomed trails.

I was there the 21st and 22nd. They have enough snow that they could have made another weekend.
-
Ok, here's the deal. If the weather is decent and everything goes as I plan, I will probably go on Tuesday 1st. I'm even looking at the 5th and/ or 6th. I'm not ready to quit yet .

MSN maps says 5.5......so I was figuring around 5.

The drive up wouldn't bother me. After skiing, the drive home could be exhausting. If I could handle this weekend, a one day trip might not bother me. Here's what I did this weekend: Friday: worked until 11pm. Fell asleep around 1:30 am Saturday: woke up at 4:45am to go to Belleayre. Skied until 1pm. Took a nap from 6-9pm. Worked OT from 10 pm to 2 am. Fell asleep at 3:30 am Sunday: Woke up at 5 am. Skied until 2pm. So I worked, took a nap, skied, took a nap, worked, took a nap, skied.
