  1. Somebody already posted that they checked w/ BB and they won't take this coupon because the $25 ticket is already less than the normal cost .
  2. Man, I hope you are correct....but I'm not holding my breath.
  3. I should have just sucked it up and drove to Bel. After going back to bed, I woke up about every half hour feeling like shit for not going...then I had to keep justifying to myself all day why I didn't go
  4. 12:00....at least that seems to be what most stuck clocks are.
  5. They'll have a lift running.
  6. I'd imagine that it's not cheap to fire up the guns. Besides, at this time of year, anything that they blow will turn into granular really quick, after a day/ night cycle.
  7. I don't mind a few inches of powder, but anything around a foot is a little much for me. I also like the silky smooth feeling of fresh natural snow, groomed over. My knees and skis don't like deep powder .
  8. Yeah, I think I might need therapy
  9. I guess if you take into consideration that driving to NY costs gas money + more time, then the $25 isn't that bad, if the short trails don't matter. If they would drop them to $15, they might sell more, which in the end could lead to more income. I'd love it if they would...I'd pay full price for another day of full mountain and longer trails to ski . Although I blew that chance today, because I planned to go to Bell, but woke up and didn't feel like driving 3.5 hours
  10. Well, I woke up this morning and moped around a little and decided that I didn't want to drive 3.5 hours . I guess it's BB this weekend.
  11. That I can fit a full size tire where the spare goes
  12. I have two free tickets yet .
  13. Well, I'm now bored, having one day off of work with no skiing. I took off the snow tires and discovered that one of them will actually fit where the donut tire goes (full size spare now ). Any way, in 7 hours I'll be out the door on the way to my first Belleayre trip .
  14. They should have a special like Blue had....by a $25 ticket, then continuously get a rebated ticket each time. Blue and Sno got my business over the weekend, by having specials, and I even have a pass for JFBB. $25 is a good deal for when the entire mountain is open, but for only 3 or 4 trails it's not.
  15. I wonder if the $10 off coupon on visitpa.com can be used for this....BB is listed on it.
  16. A little late, but here's my report. I overslept a little, so I didn't pull into the lot until 7:30. I got my ticket and was on the snow by about 7:45. I got in 14 good runs, before I ran into a bunch of PASR's at the bottom of the lift. The only person I recognized at first was Doug, because I had skied with him once before...it took him a second for it to dawn on him who I was, because it was cold last time and I was sporting the facemask , then. I forgot my gaper gear, since I was running late. Although, now that I think of it, I did have gloves with duct tape on them, in my bag, that I could have used. After being introduced to everybody, I did four or five runs with the group, then everybody decided to re-energize in the lot. I passed, since I could only stay until 11:30, due to work . Doug was a little disappointed that I didn't have a tazer, to zap Jeff . It sounds like I missed a lot of fun, after I left. I'm glad that I got to make it out, for last day, and got to put a few more faces with names. The conditions at Blue this week still blow my mind. Well I guess I'll hit Bell on Tuesday and maybe once on the weekend, along with BB. Damn, it seems like we were all just talking and getting excited when BB posted that they just started blowing snow , in November.
  17. It even impressed me when you were skiing challenge (or was it razors...anyway) with two poles in one hand and a beer in the other . Sorry...just trying to cheer people up by reminding them that there still is PA snow to be had.
  18. Just remember, there's still a couple more weekends for skiing / riding at BB. It's short and quick, but its snow.
  19. I hope so.
  20. Were the conditions that bad, or was it a lack of crowds? Even if it is completely empty, I've always thought that you should stay open until advertised. I could imagine how somebody would feel who drove a really long distance . At least the made it to April 1st....that's better than what Montage was doing .
  21. It was nice to finally meet you, even though we both have a pass for the same place, but it took going to a different place to meet. Doug told me that you said Tut's lane (the top run off of the lift) was the equivalant of one of BB's trails . There is a big difference going to Blue than BB, that's why I skipped BB this weekend. I was half asleep when I came into the lodge, but remember seeing a tall blonde dressed in a jersey, and I kind of looked at her weird and heard her say it's gaper fools day. It didn't dawn on me that it was Sexkitten and Boblikescats until they went out the door onto the snow...I forgot about the dress up day. I would have joined everybody for gatorade and root beer in the lot, but I had to leave at 1130 to get back for work...I can only imagine what I missed in the lot. I did manage to catch a glimpse of Doug walking in with the Tu-tu . Thankfully, he opted to keep the ski pants on...but then again maybe a few beers later could have been a different story .
  22. I thought they were staying open until 5??
  23. Looks like she's been hanging around too many people on here . Boomer did have excellent coverage on it this morning, but it wasn't softened up while I was there
  24. It did end up softening up, toward afternoon.
  25. It was all frozen over and granular by Saturday morning .
