Well, I checked skimaps.com and that area is on their "04-05" map, so we must not have payed attention to that in the past .
-
I haven't figured out how to put pics in this section, so I put one of the map with the "trail" that appears to be new highlighted in red, in the picture section. This "trail" could be "risk it," because that's where that tree skiing area is. Link to map: http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.p...ost&id=1165

The area in red is what some people are wondering if it is a new trail. I never noticed this, unless if this is "risk it," because that is the area where that tree run is located .
-
I never took notice to that. I'll try to find an old map to look at

Yeah, assholes who do shit like that don't stop to think about how pissed off they would be, if somebody would dump something on them
-
But they are predicting it to start out warmer than normal. I'd rather it start cold and get warm, instead of the other way around.
-
I just watched a segment on the news that said that NOAA is predicting an El Nino winter. For us they said that this means it could be a warmer than normal winter . I thought last season was bad, this would blow .
-
I think I might try the place this year, it looked ok from the website. Only problem is it's only open on weekends.

Anybody been to Eagle Rock in Hazleton? I know it's a small mountain, but was wondering if anybody was ever there?
-
Yeah, they were hot waxed, so I figured it might be a waste and the edges look good. I was curious if anybody else, other than myself, thought it might be a waste of time. Thanks.
-
, even though I see that you have been lurking since '04
-
I'm bored and was thinking about putting rub on wax on my skis. I had them hot waxed at the end of the season and they didn't scrape all of it off, so there would still be a layer on it to protect them. Would the rub on wax help, or would it be just a waste of time?

I was wondering the same thing when I saw they were offering a night pass Maple rock racing is listed for March 24 and 25th and traditionally they have closed the week before this, so hopefully they open back up after the snowmobile races. Also, does anybody know if they did away with the passholder's party...I didn't see a listing for it? -

I believe they sometimes let draufganger bump up and two seasons ago they let one side of a couple of the diamonds bump up, along with floyd's folly which is steep. -
I'd be leary to do rails, for fear of being re-injured. When the temptations hits, just think back to sitting out last season.
-
I saw that a few weeks ago and thought the same thing. I guess if two or more people know that none of them will be going at the same time, then splitting the cost for one pass could be beneficial.
-
They left the trail on the map, but removed the name....so I wonder if they will open it if we ever get enough natural snow. Also, if you look at the top of that old map, you can see where Gonzo's grind was listed, by the partial diamond that is on the part of the map that you posted.
-
Last year an instructor told me that there were a lot of injuries on the elevator and that might be why they did away with it. Also, Gonzo's grind and Jane's glade disappeared last year. Gozo's grind went from to top of east mt. lift, down to where lightning, telstar, and solitude merge.

Check out this link about it snowing at Mt. Hood and of people skiing. Hopefully they don't change the link to a different story. They were supposed to get 2-3 inches. http://www.ktvz.com/story.cfm?nav=oregon&storyID=16476

Somebody, somewhere just doesn't give a shit. JFBB's passes are the most expensive out off the Peak resorts mountains. .
-
I have a feeling that in the end, both sides will agree to end the suits by dropping their own respective suits, which would be a victory for Sno Mountain...but at the same it would be a set back because of the delay with all of the BS.
-
I just checked out CB's site and they just ADDED a bunch of BENEFITS of getting a season pass . Plus you don't have to wait in line for a ticket or pay $100 more to avoid the ticket line. I never thought I would say this, but it looks tempting to switch to CB . I sent an email and didn't get anything, and I am...err was (?) a season pass holder. It says about staying open into March. With all of the snow, they should stay open into April. Maybe changing mountains won't be difficult .
-
So, they are basically saying f**k you , it's our way or the highway. I guess they don't think that people will swap the credit cards, or dress before going to the ticket window.
-
If you can, find out if they plan on opening the windows early, to validate season passes ( which I still think is a bunch of BS, especially making an employee do it...I guess they don't consider their employees VIP's).
