  1. That my point. When I want to ski I want to ski even if I know there's a freeze thaw, sugar ice type of thing. I usually want to get out add my day into the stats. It may be tough but I think it may be prudent to avoid days that I know will be trash). Maybe it's simply more days away from Blue in exchange for more mid week days somewhere else, perhaps up north, at places where I know I'll be riding the chair alone all day.
  2. I feel like this season will be more of a quality vs quantity year. If conditions or crowds will suck maybe that's a stay home situation. Will be interesting to see if school groups show up on weeknights.
  3. Unfortunately you were correct. That's probably one of the more depressing stats that I've seen.
  4. Mice like cheese. Duh
  5. A sales opportunity! Sell them one that gets better gas mileage.
  6. Damn... looks like people got hit bad by this. Some heavy rain and wind here but everything is still in tact.
  7. Dan knows more about the technical stuff than I do but usually if softer the less stable you feel. How heavy are your skis now? Edit...it feels nice talking about skiing!
  8. Ha! Wife and I wedding anniversary is this week. I hooked her up with a sweet gift (that she knows about) and dropped a few hints of my own. Let's see how that plays out...lol
  9. If you're looking for a light weight, all mountain daily driver I think so. There's nothing to technical as I know you're still in transition mode from snowboarding so I'd probably look at the 88 or 94... very slight rocker, medium turn radius 17 something. Personally I'm not a big multi ski quiver guy (I'm totally in the minority there I know) but I want one ski that I dig no matter the conditions and sick day does that...at least for me. I hate carrying around multiple pairs of skis.
  10. That's by far the best price I've seen (never thought to look an Amazon).
  11. Jones levels are rising earlier since we ended last season a bit short.
  12. You know what'll happen... I'll buy the 104s...love them in all of blues conditions (sugar, ice and everything nice), take em on trips and my 94s will never leave the garage.
  13. Debating on moving from the sick day 94 to 104. Been eyeing up prices. Not sure if I wanna pull the trigger this year though.
  14. Sorry to hear skiincy.
  15. First I'm hear about it. Will check it out
  16. Cleared up just in time to catch the ISS fly-by.
  17. My take is yes kids will probably suffer some sort of issue by not socializing and whatnot if they're away long term. IMO virtual school at the end of last year and start of this year will be a blip on the radar in the grand scheme assuming we're out of this mess at some point in 2021. No one's saying keep the kids home permanently. Just keep them home until it's safe to send them back. That's it. Just more stupidity.
  18. Ah that's right. S9 is no slouch either. Side note ..Pixel 4a being announced tomorrow I think.
  19. You got the shots I was trying to! Nice job. Pixel??
  20. Possible all 3 of mine now are virtual for at least the fall semester.
  21. Looks like a freaking hurricane... lighting flashing in the middle and all that jazz.
  22. Bad ass storm rolling in currently... complete with thunder rumbling. It's about to pour here.
  23. Take it to the skison 20/21 thread.
  24. It's pretty badass. That said they're not serving hot food this season but I can still get my chocolate chipwhich ice cream sang so all is well. Today they had 50 cent lemonades. What up.
  25. Doing a night sesh this season?
