On top of working, we're required to keep them learning too. They took home their iPads which have e-learning courses that they need to be taking, in addition to worksheets and whatnot. Thankfully our work situation allows us to accommodate this, not to mention that our respective employers have been really understanding, knowing kids are home. I do empathize with people who have jobs that don't allow them to work at home in between "lessons" or making lunch. That has to be tough.

Excellent...a Ski2Live vs GSS rap battle. Only in my dreams could I forsee such an amazing event...until now.

It is what it is. I'm thinking about next season already. Should be a fun one. Skiing Blue, Camelback or even Belle now would likely put me into post ski trip depression...it's real.

Around 7:30 with a stop at wawa in Quakertown on the ride home.

Fuck it then. Was a great season. Come on warm weather. Someone bump the summer vacation thread.

Got home a few hours ago. Major major thanks to Barb for being so awesome. Always a pleasure skiing with you and hanging out Barb...Thanks again for everything! Was a great time. Crested Butte is next level good. I don't know that I've ever seen a place with so much steep terrain and we didn't even see all of it. The North Face stuff is essentially a mountain side full of seemingly endless extreme terrain. You can go way out there too. The stuff under the peak was just as insane. Not to mention the powder runs in paradise bowl which were pretty unforgettable. Not sure what all the closures means for my ski season yet but if the turns I made this past week were it, I'm good.

ORDA (Whiteface, Gore, Belle) are suspending operations.

Maybe.

Have a great time tomorrow guys.

It's a gem of a place. Very high on my list of favorite places. Just made it out too since they're closing tomorrow. Like the Terminator though "I'll be back". Dan, Barb and I are driving to Boulder tonight and flying out of Denver tomorrow.

Highly doubt JF or BB re-opens.

Should be another good day. A few inches fell overnight with another 1 or 2 inches forecasted for this morning before potentially seeing some sun later on.

Another very nice day in the books. Some light snow then sun early on. Barb demo'd skis and she ripped in them. After lunch it started snowing pretty hard and a few inches fell on the mountain, at least up top. After lunch at Butte 66 (impossible burger pic below) Barb headed back to the condo and Dan and I hit Forest back to silver queen to Paradise Bowl where Dan found a nice stash...it's like I was skiing with a local. After another run on Paradise we hit international to the base and called it a day. Another open to almost close sesh where we definitely experienced more of the legendary Crested Butte terrain under the Peak and over on the North face. It's definitely as advertised. Suns out now but supposed to snow later. More pics below...

My sentiments exactly.

I understand their decision but they say "due to weather" this will be our last weekend of skiing though. I read that as we're closing for the season due to weather not the coronavirus. Just saying. Either way I'm not mad.

Great morning so far. Few runs off of Paradise Bowl. Barb then made her way to East River and Dan and I made our way over to tackle the extremely foggy yet extremely awesome north face. Snow wasn't as good as yesterday but not at all bad. Had to navigate around rocks wherever possible. Pic of Dan crushing the north face below. Fog...what fog??

Snow stopped but it's supposedly coming later. Current view

Snowing in town already... Waiting for the bus

We could see up to 6 inches today starting around 10 or 11. Could be a good one!
