NY skifari is what I'm thinking for me either this season (less likely since I have other plans) or next season and seasons thereafter (most likely)...multiple days at WF / LP. Drive south. Hotel near Gore. Ski Gore a day or 2, drive home. Potential stop in the Skillz.

Fully planning on it. If schools close however I can't leave the kiddos. I took the day off. My wife didn't. Doubt it'll happen but putting it out there in case it does. Like I said...fully plan on going otherwise.

Does this change anything for you?

Will probably decide at the window. Last year I ended up getting full day ticket and skied till 1 or so.

Only issue for me would be if school is closed or delayed. Don't see that happening though with the forecast. Pouring rain may also deter me. Mid Atlantic weather is such ass.

Update as of today..."Periods of rain changing to snow in the morning, up to 1", then a snow shower in the afternoon" As of now I'm still in.

Cheer up guys....36 with freezing rain tonight. If that doesn't raise the stoke levels nothing will.

Actually no...was looking at my area. For union dale I'm seeing..."Morning showers; otherwise, cloudy. A little snow at times in the evening; otherwise, mostly cloudy"

BTW...Sexual innuendos were unintended but funny none the less.

Top 2 or 3 night session tonight this season.

Tonight's definitely the night for bumps if you're into that sorta thing.

Not gonna lie. Forecast for Friday has me a bit concerned.

Clear skies... Warm temps, spring snow. Just a really nice night out here. Crowds are minimal. 6 pack is down. Feels like late March. Despite the fact that it's too warm for early February tonight is really good.

If you want perspective come to Blue.

Conditions will probably be better at Elk and it'll likely be less crowded. Is it worth the extra hour? That's your call. If you have fun that's what matters right?
