  1. Wed and Thursday look good for a night sesh.
  2. I actually suggested Shawnee (post #13 above) but ok.
  3. You suggested it and that's fine. I disagreed with it and that's fine too. You then, in turn, make an underhanded jab at Blue (or PA) like you frequently do which, in turn, results in contention. There are plenty of well respected PASRs who ski and live in MUCH better places than either PA or NY and they never shit on PA. You, for some reason, like to and it's old TBH.

    Elk Day 2020

I'd love it if he came again this year.
  5. Read. The OP went to Blue and had a great time. So much so that he (or she) wants to go skiing again. So yes this is about Blue. Second (and this may come as a shock to you) your opinions are not fact. There are plenty of places where Blue has natural beauty. When I lived in Philly (a while back) coming to blue was like getting out into the wilderness and it was part of the experience. It's called perspective (this person is coming from NY). Are you seriously that arrogant that you believe your opinions are universally shared by everyone else? My opinion is that skiing in a fucking man made tube in East Rutherford NJ in the winter is stupid. I wouldn't expect everyone else to subscribe to it.

  7. You always gotta get your jabs in don't you? Stick to music and your mighty, Himalaya like Catskill mountains.

Sounds like a plan to me. Will do just that tomorrow.

    Elk Day 2020

Wow...been tough to coordinate this year. If we stick with a Friday...The Friday after the 7th is Valentine's day which could be hard for some. Friday after that is the 21st which feels a little late. There are ski trips in March so that may be tough. If no one can do the 7th then I'd say maybe a formal Elk day isn't in the cards for this year, unless there's a better day of the week that works for the majority. Has to be good with Rummy and Big Al of course. Not sure I feel like trying to figure out days anymore to be honest.
  10. That looks a shit ton better than it did last night. Amazing what a little snow can do.

    Elk Day 2020

Bump. We're a month away. Make arrangements now to go now if you can. Let's get the official roll call going for 2-7. Who's in?
  12. 100% disagree. Skiing is also about being outdoors, on the mountain with nature. Not inside of a man made structure built on swampland in New Jersey. If he was learning in July then sure.
  13. In case anyone is wondering, challenge and main street are pretty wretched right now. Pretty much anything that isn't Paradise or dream weaver is. It's like they used whatever materials Superman used to build his fortress of solitude and laid it down on the slopes this evening.
  14. Sorry I missed today with everyone. God bless the person who invented night skiing. Guns are ablaze on razors, razor back, nightmare. Para weaver is good. It's the only thing I've skied so far. Semi sugary on the sides, slick in the middle... Can edge fine though. Fun night so far.
  15. Or did you mean falalalalalalalalalalala?
  16. For stat purposes, would July skiing count as '19-'20 or '20-21?
  17. Mission accomplished then. Here's to your progression and many more kick ass days for you on the mountain.
  18. Not feelin' today at all.
  19. You can't go wrong with any of those. I'm partial to the bird. Literally has everything one could want.
  20. He was extra fast last night.
  21. No one is saying Blue is better than X up north or out west. you're the only one doing the compare and contrast bull shit. We're just having fun at our local Hill. Honestly just ski and have a good time. Who gives a shit.
  22. Footage of you skiing NMDW this evening.
  23. Really fun night.@AtomicSkier, Dude, Matt Edge and a few others were in the house. Conditions were good overall. NMDW was the run of the night. Mainstreet was also good. Razors and challenge were decent with some bumpy, sugary sections and some slick hardpack. One of those life is good night sessions for sure. Hopefully the rain holds off on Saturday.
  24. I had one yesterday. Delish.
  25. Saturday for me weather pending. Possibly Sunday evening.. Oh and Doug will handle roll call moving forward as I believe his strike ends this week. It's been a pleasure.
