Ummm hello. We're talking about Hunter mountain here...where the snow falls like petals from a flower in the spring time.

I grabbed one of the foldy, bendy maps (love those BTW....best kind of trail map as they dont get all wrinkled and bent up in your pocket...good call on those Blue!) and Barney's Bumps is definitely on it. IDK...not seeding bumps is kind of a big deal as it essentially removes a trail from the official trail count, not to mention what everyone stated above (clinics and what not). While I'm totally on board with Jeff's line of thinking as bumps far from my thing, no "Barney's bumps" is kinda shitty for multiple reasons. I have to think they'll do something.

January isn't working out. How's Friday February 7th? If this works for Rummy and the majority of people who want to attend this year, 2-7 it is.

The trail map still includes "Barney's Bumps" so maybe there's hope.

Main was the best it's been all season complete with man-made whiteroom conditions by Midway. Really fun but short session for me as my toes got pretty f'd up. Checked out the new ski shop and it looks pretty baller. Way to class it up Blue! Keep up the good work.

Honestly I can't recall a time when I didn't drive to or from Blue or any local mountain in ski pants. I'm pretty sure I drove home from Whiteface and Belle last year in my ski pants too.

If I were a betting man. I'd put $$ on this for tomorrow...

Today was fun as hell. Upper main, skiers left (RIP Barney's bumps) was absolutely stellar. Lower main is its own fucking world. Falls was fun but a cookie field on the bottom. So good to be on the six pack and some (limited) new terrain.

Hey all. Taking roll call duties for Doug for the second of 4 weeks here due to his current roll call boycott. So with that said who's gonna be at Blue the true this weekend...where the valley will be open and we'll be riding the poconos coldest six pack for the first time this season? Saturday will be a cold one so be sure to wear those fa la la la. La la la. La la layers. Sunday looking perfect right now with bright sunshine and a high of around 40.

Honestly I don't know if anyone saw it coming. Was basically a series of pretty serious snow squalls doing just enough to make roads really nasty.

Roads were terrible. Almost ditched out myself. Saw what looked like an amazon delivery van turned around, driving backwards going down the mountain. Thankfully he got straightened out. Definitely wasn't expecting that.

My jealousy knows no bounds.
