My 2019 / 2020 "skison" will no doubt include turns with you my friend. Either at Blue if you'd like or at Elk.

Plus flying after drinking the night before if fucking terrible. Never again....

If no Vail then it'll be someone. Peak??

Also for the record there is some butt puckering terrain at Steamboat if I recall. The chutes and I believe Christmas tree bowl area are pretty fucking gnarly. Oh and LOL at those ski mag lists. Not one cottonwood resort. I know... the whole no resort town, lodging BS.

My only regret is not not going to the hot springs when I was there.[mention=1572]phillycore[/mention] was down too. Should've went. Read so many good things about it since that trip. Anyway...Steamboat was fun but don't necessarily see myself going again anytime soon either. Lots of other places that I've yet to visit or want to visit again.

I don't think there's really a need for you to ask. It's more of a "I'm coming with you" type of thing.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'd totally be down with that. You interested in a CB trip? Western trips may be tough after this year if my kid goes to college at a location that requires air travel. My travel expenses / airline miles at that point will no doubt be dedicated to that, which likely means a lot more WF / ADKs.

Why are you so awesome? Honestly I wouldn't want to put you out. Would stay in town someplace if need be. As long as we could make turns at some point!

Could definitely change but Crested Butte has been on my list of places to ski forever and I'm about ready to check that one off my list. Plus I'm way past due to ski with [mention=1419]Barb[/mention]. If, for whatever reason that doesn't pan out ADKs again, a few days and WF, will throw in Gore this time (should've skied Gore last year but the snow was actually forecasted at Blue and I drove home after WF). Who knows though...if your JH days work then maybe I'll tag along for a few days there. Way too early but that's what I'm thinking.

Pretty much have narrowed down to two ski trip destinations next season depending on how things pan out. Alot of Blue, maybe elk, a spring skills outing etc.

So (in re-reading this) the dude jumped off of that platform / deck area separating BB trail and snowdrift onto snowdrift and hit a snowgun? That jump in itself is a pretty risky move. Can't speak to why BB had a snowgun parked there but damn....2.4 million??

Have a feeling the PPL surcharge was nothing compared to what will occur at the ticket window next season.

Looking like at least another week, probably more before needing to install the window AC units which makes me extremely happy. My goal, although highly unlikely, would be to go all summer without them (side note, central air is fairly uncommon in houses around here).

I promise you this looked much better through the telescope but here's Jupiter and it's moons through the scope. Jupiter is ballin in the sky this month. Should be the best viewing this weekend. Saturn hits opposition next month I believe... Can't wait for that!
