Honestly what ski area waffles aren't delicious? The waffle haus waffles at Blue are down right heavenly. -
I bought some for my daughter. I'll get her more on black Friday.

One of my finest high school moments was when I chose Robin Hood as my summer read but instead watched the movie "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" with Kevin Costner (in lieu of the book) and wondering how the fuck I bombed that test. -
He's BVRA Programs from Central PA... aka the "Speader of Hype / Hype Spreader Extraordinaire" . What else do you need to know?

I'd do it if it were for a $50 gift card for anything. Maybe I'll work the Italian charm on them and see what happens.

Yeah but the day before at Brighton though... -
Renegade is in no way 250 vert. At least not the pitch itself. That's probably good for 2 or 3 turns.

Once or twice a year I'll make the I'll advised decision to ski the Blue Baumer or Sleepy Hollow trees. Once or twice a year I regret skiing Blue Baumer or Sleepy hollow trees.
-
No. Nothing like those two. Nothing like main street, NMDW, Burma or Paradise either. There's some pitch toward the bottom for a few turns (thunder cloud, Tecumseh etc) but it's short lived. Delaware and lower Pennsylvania trails are like mini Paradises. Tomahawk and Arrowhead top to bottom are probably the best runs. If you like winding turny shit, you won't find much of it at Jawnee. Blues trails are more uniquely cut IMO. Funny cause an Olympic skier (Jean Claude Killy) designed the trail layout at Jawnee. Honestly it's perfect for beginners and people who want to get into the sport. Nothing wrong with that either. If I were running a group of newbies I'd probably go to Shawnee over Blue in a heartbeat for that reason. For idiots like us it's a different story.
-
Actually the Shawnee locals are gonna be pissed about the Delaware run. That's like their version of sidewinder. Although nothing like sidewinder.
-
Nice. Probably going to Blue for a stone grind this year as well. Was going to take them to a local shop around here who do a nice job but they charged me $80 freaking dollars last year. That's enough to make Ski2Live quit skiing altogether.

If it's only one jfbb forget it

Yeah it was pretty much cleaned out by 11. Literally all boots in my size were gone by 10:15. The benches were lined with people trying them on (they actually had dudes there providing a solid boot fitting too which was nice). I was lucky to get what I got. Tried a pair of Rossi's that were too big. Another that were too small. Then saw a pair of new Full Tilt boots in my size sitting over by the snowboard boots. Someone tried them and put them back in the wrong spot. Figure I'd try them out. One of the Blue Employees helped me with fitting and Viola.. Great deal on new boots had.

Thinking about it since I've been looking for a reason to get back to WF. Plus 2 days at JF. Not bad

Place was insane. Worth it but definitely insane

WNEP card is out. I'm tempted to grab one Whiteface Mountain – Lake Placid, NY Ski Big Bear – Pennsylvania Jack Frost / Big Boulder – Pennsylvania Mountain Creek – New Jersey Shawnee Mountain – Pennsylvania Ski Sawmill – Pennsylvania Swain Mountain – New York (WNEP Ski Cards must be ordered by 12/5/17 in order to receive them in time for Holiday Gifts) You may redeem this for either weekday or weekend lift tickets. That’s right, you can ski on the weekend with the WNEP Ski Card! Please note that this is not valid for holidays (Please see holiday dates in restrictions below.) The best part about this deal is that you can ski each of these great resorts for only $99 total! That’s more than a 75% savings from purchasing a lift ticket to each mountain, individually! If you want to take advantage of this great deal, then you’d better act fast as quantities are limited!

Yes sir

Complete with a little sidewinder and lazy out in the distance
-
No WNEP ski card yet either.. At least not yet.

I actually posted it from the terlet. I'm not kidding.

He totally set himself up for that

Because you don't really ski on snow at Elk. Instead you're actually skiing on flakes of white gold which were mined in Vermont and imported to Clark's Summit PA. There the "snow" is pasteurized and homogenized for skiing then shipped to Elk for distribution on its slopes which, by the way, were hand cut a few hundred years ago as part of a peace treaty by the indigenous people of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the European settlers. The reason that the lifts are slow at Elk (and not many people know this) is because they have a colony of smurfs actually living under the mountain (known simply as "Smurf Village" to the locals) that manually spin the lifts via a system of pulleys. The smurfs demand a fair wage and rightly so! So think about that $800 now and you'll see that you're actually getting a great deal!
