  1. I was talking about how you referred to BDK as "a fucking gaper and a cop". Kinda harsh.
  2. While, I'm not gonna lie, the above is funny; you've still managed to insult 2 former posters in this thread for some ungodly reason. Why? What if they decided to come back to PASR and the first thing they saw were your harsh words? Think McFly think. Here's my thing though, if you let someone "run" you off a message board, I question whether you should have been on that message board to begin with. Sibhusky was a big loss. She posted Montana stoke and BigDaddyK's Jack Frost TRs were epic. He was the Jack Frost OG. If I recall though I believe he came back briefly a year or so ago and mentioned that he quit skiing for a while which may be why he bailed on PASR.
  3. Congratulations. Appreciate you rubbing our noses in it. Will be sure to do the same next time you all experience bullshit like this. Edit...This weather is straight nonsense and it's getting to me.
  4. WNEP card has Whiteface?
  5. Two years ago I was skiing Blue's trees, honeybee, marquis route, the mtb trails etc etc a few days after a big storm. It was a Tuesday morning if I remember. That day was just as much fun if not funner than some of the days I've had skiing trails at Killington or Stratton. Blue is a totally different animal when off piste is an option. Anyway I'm not spending 25 days out west this season (maybe 3) so a Belle or Hunter trip is forthcoming. Mid December with no skiing locally in my foreseeable future isn't sitting well with me.
  6. I'm just looking for any terrain at this point.
  7. I'll just go ahead and leave these direct quotes from PASR's own Phillycore on his fondness for Snowbird right here...(source the "11-12 PASR Utah Invasion thread"). Enjoy. "Snowbird - Gnarly Terrain like Jackson Hole and Squaw Valley, and we hit it on a pow day. I really don't need to say anything else..... It's a sick place and I will be back!! Tied in my #2 spot with Jackson Hole as my favorite mountains I've skied at." "Snowbird we hit on the powder day, I expected it to be great, but never expected to like it anywhere near as much as JH or Squaw...as I had put those two in a class by themselves it delivered big time." Fantastic observations Mr. Core. I certainly agree! (note the bold font ).
  8. Speaking of trains. Polar Express was on the other night...one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time!
  9. I just drove past they are still blowing in the valley and on Main Street. It actually doesn't look that bad. Will probably get some marginal snowmaking tonight and tomorrow. Then let's hope the forecast come down a bit. Trying to stay positive.
  10. Forecasted low for tonight dropped a bit. same for Monday and Tuesday night
  11. Zee lights are on again
  12. hahahaha doug...august.
  13. doubtful. I'm going flamenco dancing because I am a fool edit. my wife stole my chromebook while i walked away and posted that. i'm actually leaving it there because it's hilarious. anyway to answer your question most likely not. belle is in my near future though depending on what happens at blue in the next few days.
  14. Zee lights are definitely back on
  15. jfdan and phillycore know how i feel about the bird. you can't go wrong. place is sick. there is no "town" however. cottonwood heights is cool but not really a ski town. there's a golden corral and a dave's bbq there which is always good. edit...saw others already commented on the lack of town..sorry for being repetitive. do check out the golden corral however.
  16. belleayre may be in the near future for me.
  17. break out the pow skis! a snow squall which amounted to absolutely nothing fell at jfbb! meanwhile back here in reality it's not even cold enough to start a snow gun. this weather sucks!
  18. $80 is insanity. keep an eye out for the $30 cbs local deals.
  19. Makes sense. Thank you sir
  20. I actually thought more about this. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but hear me out. If you draw a line on the map from Jfbb to Hunter to NYC, back to Jfbb, you have a triangle... Illuminati?
  21. But I still need to know the which Peak resorts employees won "employee of the month" the each of last 12 months in addition to each individual's favorite color and hobby. Finally Peak spelled backwards is "kaep". I'll need to understand the play there.
  22. Reasoning is right there in the article.. “Its reputation as one of the premier snowmaking resorts in the East makes it a perfect fit for our portfolio and strategy." "Our roadmap for growth calls for a mix of organic growth and resort development as well as acquisitions that will let us build our portfolio of ski resorts in the attractive overnight and day-drive segments of the market. We expect this transaction will be accretive to Peak Resorts' Reported EBITDA in the third quarter of fiscal 2016 and we will continue to evaluate other potential value-add acquisitions," Make of it what you will.
  23. We're sitting here praying for cold air on the east so we can ski our cookie laden WRODs. Meanwhile at snowbird...
  24. Peak has the NY metro area covered now. Lots of opportunity there for them.
  25. This. Massive is a good word for it.
