Berthoud was pretty nuts. Since it was snowing pretty good up there, the Back country crowd were doing their thing. Dan and I wanted to boot up but Phillycore was having none of it.
-
We're sitting on a taxi way and Dan is none to happy about it.

First ski day will be on thurs.

Seriously safe travels. Sorry to hear that you're stuck. -
Dan's quiver is larger than most ski shops.

Bump... Because in three days time, three men will embark on a journey westward away from snow less hills and flat lands; away from variable ski conditions to which they've become so accustomed and ski lodges that are reminiscent of the 1980's. These three brave souls (Phillycore and JFSkiDan of Jackson Frost and RidgeRacer of the Bluest of Mountains) will journey west of the Mississippi to the storied lands of Steamboat Springs and Winter Park Colorado. Along the way they will encounter many trials and tribulations such as one man's insistence on taking his sweet ass time in the morning, another's who's driving skills will scare the shit out of the heartiest of souls all while shouting the now famous mantra of "this is how we do in PA!", and another who's ski quiver is larger than the mountains themselves. These men will come together on a mission to seek out and explore the legendary Rocky Mountain powder. They will also encounter the PASR legend... Barb, one of the few who have successfully completed what many mere mortals can only dream about... The exodus from the East to the western lands and lofty peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Will these three accomplish their mission? Keep it here to find out.

Who was taking pictures of her all jacked up or was she capturing it herself? Either way that's kinda weird.

Actually I shouldn't say any major city... I do like salt Lake, Denver (except for the Broncos) and Phoenix (it's the desert yes, but skiing really isn't that far).

It's cool that you enjoy the city. I just don't think you'll get many people on board with that notion here on a skiing forum. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and would rather have my nipples chewed off by a pack of wild dogs than live in any major city. That's just me though. My brother was all about living in the city as well until my neice was born. That changed right quick. Some of my best memories were growing up in Philly. Nothing against it. I just don't want to live there. Ever again. To each his own.
