  1. From what I heard the snow won't start falling until late Saturday. Sunday morning is gonna be the powder day according to the news this morning. Looking like I'll be at frost Sunday since tomorrow is jam packed with things to do.
  2. Awesome! Welcome to PASR.
  3. My bad. I'll post up next time. Honestly it was a last minute decision to ski. I was just going to meet MBike (nice to meet you and the Mrs. tonight sir) to pick up my passes and head home then I decided to put my shit on in the lot. So glad that I did. Lazy mile skiers right under the trees was the absolute shit. Main street was good too. My toes were numb when I left but it was worth it (the car showed 11 degrees). It's official, I'm updating my thing and listing blue as a co-home mountain.
  4. It's amazingly nice out here at Blue this fine evening
  5. Potential for some fresh this weekend
  6. This is sweet. CBS deals sold out right quick.
  7. It could have happened to anybody. What he hit was buried under the snow. No one saw it
  8. Yep. The helmet saved his life. That or it saved him from a serious injury. Powder country is complete wilderness. There wasn't anyone around for miles. We would have had to make our way out of it, then wait for the bus to get help. I'm pretty sure cell phone reception was non existent.
  9. Nothing here. Anybody see what's happening at this eagles game? We're definitely not getting that here. They're getting pounded down there.
  10. Shut up.
  11. Just got back. Met up with Dan and PC at 8 and we lapped challenge, Dematte's, One Park for the most part. The snow wasnt as good as it looks in that picture. It had it's far share of ice, ruts and chunks. It was fast though so blasting down challenge was hella fun. The outter edge of Happyland was actually skiable and the snow in there was half decent so there were some trees to be had. In all it was a nice day of skiing with great company.
  12. Me and Dan weren't smiling. Our trip almost ended early you bastard. ;-)
  13. See you guys at 8 tomorrow. Ridge Racer time
  14. Jealous as hell.
  15. Bird is heaven on earth. GSSucks are you a Utah local now?
  16. Phillycore you must be trippin. I'm still skiing frost. Looking like Saturday morning is a possibly for me.
  17. Great read by the way. I may have to post some pics of our trip there for stoke... You would never know that it was almost a week after a storm. It doesn't look steep but looks are deceiving.
  18. Program have you ever been to powder?
  19. I forgot about the 4pm grooming. You obviously have a a shit ton more days there than I so I'll take your word for it.
  20. I didn't think it was horrible that day. Lower main street that's about it. You can't tell me that the snow was better 7 or 8, 10 years ago than it is now?
  21. Blue's snow has slowly been getting better over the years. Yes they did. Must've been reading threads here.
  22. Nice man...stick around. PASR has become a pretty chill place over the years. Just wait till the western TR's start rolling in.
  23. I was never a BB fan - ever. It was the only night option I had the past few years. I'm still a JF fan, despite the late opening, early closing, shitty lifts etc. I like the mountain (the trees, ski anywhere etc.). However without the trees / elevator it can get boring. It's not practical for me to drop $500 on a pass there because I ski at night a lot - more so this season. Weekends are tougher than ever. I'd rather flush $$ down the toilet than pay 5 large to ski BB every night therefore a pass there isnt practical. Like most people, I work during the week so Frost isnt an option mid week. Blue just has so many advantages right now. They are aggressive in their opening / closing. I drive Blue Mountian road to and from work. It's a PASR day there ever day. They stay open until 10. They have the best trails / vertical this side of the state. I sais some shit about their snow in the past but once a ski area in PA shows some balls and starts spinning lifts in November and keeps them open, it's easy to win me over. Frost used to show balls, now it's BB that has the balls but I'm just not interested in BB unfortunately. Only if I'm there with good company is it worth it - and in April when nothing else is open.
  24. I'm really stoked on blue and what they've done this year. As I mentioned to atomic skier last night, I'll probably just end up with a full pass next season. Main Street, lazy mile this early in the season was phenomenal. No place else anywhere around here can offer that right now.
