Nice post Doug! Actually Glenn plake was at frost last season and had some nice things to say about our hill. I heard he destroyed the elevator...literally jumped in coming down river shot at a good clip.
Agreed. Funny because me and jfskidan were crunching the numbers on the lift last weekend. Our conclusion was that even doing a budget ski trip out west is going to probably be more expensive than driving a few hours north. Granted it may be worth it to spend the extra dough though.
The snow (especially in the trees) was deep and conditions were phenomenal. Awesome Day! Jack Frost is the place to be after a storm. Pics below...

Unfortunately it doesn't look like we're reaching epic status, still not bad though. There's maybe 5 inches on the ground. Epic was the 2 footers we got last year!
I think Little Cliff Huck is that big boulder / rock thing skiers left on the River Shot run out. You kinda ski up it, then either jump off or ski down the boulder. Is that where they were blowing?
