You dont necessarily have to huck it. Theres a very narrow path in between the two cliffs which you can slide down. The tricky part about going that way is that you need to make a quick left turn once down to avoid a tree. lol.

Dan checking out his tracks on Elevator... Challenge Glade Dan on Vader
-
Made it out for an early morning session with JFSKiDan. This morning easily falls under the "epic" category. Only a few inches fell last night but that combined with the famous JFBB man made, made for sweet conditions all around. We made our first run on Janes which had a nice layer of last night's freshly fallen snow on top. It was then over to the Challenge glade which we took all the way down to the East Mt. Lift. The PE's were loving the cold smokey powder through the glade. We hit East Mt for runs through the Elevator Glade, and of course Vader. After a few runs on there we hit Mad Tree and I hit Risk It and JFSKiDan hit Floyds. It was then back over to the combination of Elevator Glade to Elevator a number of times before I had to hit the road. Dan hung out for a bit and is probably still there. We have pics which I'll post up in a few. Morning's like this though are the reason why we do this...great day.

JFskiDan is getting it done this week. Big Boulder was nice tonight as well. stashes of powder could be found all over the mt. And for the Boulder Park fans, the groomers were out doing their thing building the huge jumps.

Nice shots C1er. By the looks of the pics, looks like it was really good out there today.

There was some really nice chalky snow to be found in certain spots on the hill...props again to BB holding up nicely after the rain.

getting a ticket at a ski area sounds so funny.

Today was a great day at JFBB. Snow was perfect at both Mts. Oh and the Elevator / Elevator glade = . I'll let Phillycore and Smartass provide the visuals.

I'm actually at Boulder tomorrow...not sure yet if I'll be able to swing by later on. We'll get some runs down the Elevator sooner or later though...enjoy.

Temps dropped last night and I know they were blowing today - still are I'm sure. It's should stay cold through the weekend. Conditions this weekend should be sweet.

Thanks for the update C1er. Mid week at JF is awesome.

Early in the morning it was perfect. I made a few runs with Phillycore and Smartass through the challenge trees on sweet mad made packed powder. It felt like mid-winter. The snow on the trails were nice and it held up nicely in the rain as well.

Today was a perfect opening day at Jack Frost. Snow was excellent, weather was great, sun was out. The snow guns were firing on T-Bolt and Exhibition both of which look real close to opening. Awesome day.

sorry i couldnt join you. see you at frost tomm.

Looks like we got about 3 or 4 inches of snow, but it's since turned over to rain which has turned it to snow cone. I can't wait to shovel it . Although it's probably not bad for building a base over at the hills since it's easily packed down.

Don't know if any other PASR's were out there but tonight was fun...definitely nice getting back out for the season. The guns were firing on Boulder Park and some of the other trails. The Boulder Park Trail looks real close to being open. There were lots of people out there but the snow up nicely.
