I thought today was pretty good with the exception of maybe p dizz and certan areas on lazy that were slick. Lazy, right before and through the turn though was $$...like silk. Midway to lower street was fun for getting some speed and falls was ok. The narrowness has me worried that newbs coming out to ski over the holiday week will end up in the ditch either side... especially when the crowds pick up. But the "experts only" sign was posted which will no doubt deter them 😐. Curzis cabin wasn't open btw. Either way... good morning with a good crew as always. Back to reality for me until Friday which is fixing to be a good one. Perhaps a night sesh or two this week until then!

-3 when I left the house. 3 when I arrived at the lower lot. In the house were Atomicskier, NMSki, JohnnyLaw, Matt Edge, Schif, Skincy, Nastar Glen and many others. It was cold but nothing completely unbearable. Crowds were light but best of all conditions were really really nice. First run on free fall was most excellent with some nice cord to start off the day. Midway to lower main and p diz were also on point. Falls was open but closed for the race team (smh). Too cold to take the phone out for pics except for one from the car. Overall a really nice morning despite the cold. Happy holidays!

I got -2 up here on the mountain. Gonna be a short sesh. LFG

Starting this thread was now officially worth it.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Who's in the Ho Ho Ho-use this weekend? Assuming @GrilledSteezeSandwichwill not be because he didn't start the roll call but if I recall he'll be riding his sleigh to Virginia. Saturday morning dress like an astronaut elf because it'll feel like the North Pole. Hopefully the snow conditions will make the good list however (the snow makers definitely have). Sunday the PASRs that weren't on the naughty list will likely be opening presents so no skiing...assuming@saltyantis getting coal. Monday however is an extension of this weekend and it's looking like we'll see some sun with temps a bit warmer than Saturday, but cold enough to keep the sugar plum fairies away from the mountain... hopefully for a long time. I'm planning on Saturday and Monday for sure. Happy holidays!

The forecast looks terrible. I'll probably toss a night sesh in tomorrow evening before the rains kick in. Conditions Saturday morning should be a blast (sarcasm there of course)

True blue to get my daughter a new helmet. I asked if I could use my $50 and she looked at me like I was crazy. Told me to go to guest services. Girl there asks me what I was there for. I explain that I wanted to redeem my fiddy. Girl there also looks at my like I'm crazy. Finally I speak to another lady at GS who says not all of the fiddys have been distributed. Then proceeds to write my name down on a piece of paper to give to her boss and tells me i should expect an email.

Par for the course this season

Conditions were pretty awful tonight. One of those if you can ski at Blue mountain, you can ski anywhere kinda nights. ice in the middle, sugar on the sides, some man made here and there. Much better than being home watching the Patriots act like f ing clowns to end any chance of making the playoffs.

Nobody seems to know about the 50 dollar credit for buying the pass last spring

I'm pulling up for the night sesh. My daughter wanted to ski today so I waited for her to get done work. Blowing on razors and lots of other places

For the record (just looked at the bank account) the Sierra Nevada Hazy whatever at the beer truck was $8.50 and not $4. Although I know I'm not going crazy because she said $4 and handed me a sierra mist originally. Assuming that's what she was telling me was 4 bucks. My bad.

Really great day. Best conditions I think of the season that held up fairly well. So nice to ski new trails. Looked and felt like winter today.

Here's my question for you though. Would you consider the 2 mountain pass next if it were reasonably priced next season? You haven't mentioned that at all.

I got the email too and deleted it because 1) it looked fishy and 2) it could be an 18 cent upgrade (let alone $180) and I probably wouldn't do it.
