Dang. I was thinking about a night sesh tonight. May push that off to tomorrow

If that's the little whiteface lift that runs adjacent to the mountain run lift but goes all the way up to the little whiteface peak then I would agree. Incredible views of the high peaks from there too.

I wish. Was just ads for Blue mountain. Like what they have on the TV screens at the top lodge.

First thing I thought of when I saw it was that it brings attention to the ugly rusted out pole that it's attached to. Then I noticed the ugly rusted out pole and forgot all about the screen because all I could look at was the ugly rusty pole.

This is spot on accurate. He was so sly about it too. It was 8:45ish... I saw it and just kinda thought why's BenM wearing a fanny pack filled with aluminum foil? Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine what would come next. Johnny Law took it one further, said and I quote "yo dude...what do you got there?" ....Then came BenM's epic and unforgettable response. A response that that'll be etched into my memory banks as long as I live and breathe... "anyone wanna hotdog?"...as he held his foil wrapped trophy high in the air, grinning from ear to ear. Frankly...It was an honor and a privilege to be apart of it.

True. Nor would I have experienced lift dogs

6 miles as the crow flies between JF and BB. 2.8 wide at Killington

Hold on. You really think Killingtons peaks are a further distance apart from JF and BB?? If anything I would think pico to Killington would be a better analogy. Let me Google map this....

Next week I'm bringing Italian sausage sandwichs

BenM woke up extra early and made hot dogs for his homies. He wrapped them up in foil to ensure that they stayed warm for us. We ate them on the lift. Took a run then ate more next ride up. It was like Popeye eating his spinach. We were able to conquer the sugar fields with ease after that.

Just back from another strange day at blue. First run on upper main was really nice but that didn't last long. More of the same today. Cookies divots, sugar etc. Maybe a tad better than yesterday overall. NMDW and lower main, lower paradise became vast fields of sugar. The legs were wrecked by 9:30. Highlight of the day however were the warm and delicious lift hot dogs courtesy of chef BenM.

Let me preface this with skiing on shitty conditions is better than doing most things...especially when you're skiing with good peeps. That was today. You know conditions are gonna be special when it's 745, you're walking to the lift from the lot and the first step on snow is your boot sinking ankle deep into sugar. First run on upper main was good. Lower main was trash from the onset. But to keep things interesting Curzis and Midway were filled with hard cookies before you actually hit the sugar. need to be on your toes for sure there. The snow on lower main is more brown than white. Lazy was decent. Coming soon top to bottom was ROTD with freshly blown snow. The lollipops came out on lower main at some point and the crowds descended. The race team was present.

Both days for me BTW

Who's breaking out the Bermuda shorts and headed to a balmy Blue mountain this weekend? We got sunshine on Saturday and highs looking like me.... hot in the mid 40s. On Sunday we'll see some cloud cover with highs again in the 40s. Maybe we'll see some spring conditions as opposed to sugar. LFG

I don't see the guns turning back on again in the month of January
