I did and 549 is fair price in my opinion....even 600. Just hope the 799 however isnt a sign of things to come. I can see a $799 pass coming and they justify that by including CB. For us that's the equivalent of what Vail did to the Whitetail locals.. sure its a good deal in theory but meaningless if you're not using whatever the justification is for the price hike. There's comes a point where you question whether or not it's worth spending the money before you blindly swipe the credit card. $800 for a Blue pass is there. Again just hypotheticals and chatter right now because I spent the 549 and am excited to ski my beloved Blue. I just hope the new management keeps things reasonable for early bird and what not. Regarding the season pass cap. I didn't know there was one! Have a feeling this is gonna be an interesting year.

IMO vert us only a thing in the east. In the west it's irrelevant because of the total acreage you're skiing. Imagine thinking Brighton is small because of its 1800 vert. -

I like this site because they use legit vert. Basically top to bottom without having to take a lift or traverse. http://mountainvertical.com/true-up-vertical.html They have Big Sky at 4016 and Jackson at 4100. The bird is at 3243 and steamboat at 2479 (although they advertise as being much higher). In the east its the Face at 3216 (number 12 overall in the US). Sugarbush at 2552 and Sugarloaf at 2410. They have Killington at just a hair over the mighty Blue at 1645 (Killington peak basically). Blue of course is at 1082. -

Jackson hole is no longer the vert king in the US. https://unofficialnetworks.com/2021/09/24/summit-ski-area-officially-merges-into-timberline-lodge-the-largest-vertical-ski-area-in-america/ -
Low 40s this am. The next week looks beautiful! Straight sun with highs in the 60s

Nothing says Apres Ski like a DG (rhyme intended).

Hell yeah. Best Blue news I've read in a while. I'll gladly toss a little more dough and slopeside now

Disagree...at least on Jackson Frost.

It's like going from the Waldorf Astoria to the Red Roof. (Insert obligatory Salty confused face here --->)

If I had to guess I'd say the Blue agent was correct on the dual mountain pass usage. Would be shocked if it were valid at both...at least this year. I'm kinda where BenM is in that I guess it's a nice to have but option but probably wouldn't use it unless I had to. What would be fantastic is if a dual pass sent more weekend warriors to CB. Of course the opposite could happen as well which would suck.

They wasted no time clearing out the trees for the new one on 534 and Old Stage. Already gone...now they can put up their Sardine can looking aluminum sided store that no one needs. PS I could see a whole foods in Jim Thorpe. We ate at Myst last night (sushi place) and it was packed for a Monday night.

Are you fing kidding me? There's one right near country junction and another next to Cherry's on 209 right near 534.

I feel like a PASR pickup football game is in order at either Jeff's or Toast's backyards.

Imagine paying $109 to ski Vista.

Mohawk and Iroquois are the two best trails there in terms of pitch and just in general. Why would they regrade or widen them?

Visited Big Pocono SP high atop mt. camelback today. Great 360 degree view up there from Blue mountain to the south, Delaware Water Gap to the east and the Skillz to the north.

He makes so much sense. Unfortunately common sense and logic doesn't seem to work.
