I think I’m gonna head down for a few runs. Lines don’t look bad Edit...nah wind is kicking up.

I remember big boulder had funnels with basketball nets attached to the top. Smh.

You're spot on. I guess what I don't understand is why is it just here (Blue, Camelback etc.) this is a non issue at every other ski area that I've been to outside of NEPA. It's really not an issue and Elk or even Frost. My theory is that it's happening mostly at night with school groups etc.

Trash cans at the top and bottom, remove the funnel, instead throw signs up everywhere that say "please keep our mountain beautiful, do not litter" or "littering is subject to pass removal". Also Put "littering is subject to a fine and removal of pass" in big bold letters on tickets, trail maps, lift towers etc...everything basically so when someone gets caught patrol has every right to take their shit and kick them out. You get caught once you lose your pass. You get caught a second time you're subject to a lifetime ban from Blue mountain.

Sending people out to pick it up is great but that’s not the solution. They need to do whatever they can to prevent it from happening in the first place.

Where's the Pizza from? A&G?

Fun day but man the crowds were crazy today. Conditions were top notch for the first few. All in all a good couple of ski days this weekend! -
Why can’t it just be…”I skied blue?” Why add the $40 part? Seems weird.

1/11…a friendly inch..very nice and busy

It's amazing what an inch of snow can do for stoke...not just for tightening up conditions but also mentally ...to feel like you're in the mountains. The first few runs of the day (challenge and side for me) were so money it was hard not to smile. From there it stayed good virtually everywhere. Even skied sleepy hollow glade a few times along with the ditch. Main was probably the worst condition wise. Crowds became large around 9 and despite wanting to ski more...lines beyond the turnstiles at 940 and crowded slopes were enough to wrap up a mighty fine session. Maybe the best of the season so far. -
Saturday and Sunday

Drop the 4 and I'd consider it, but only if blue was closed

1/5..pretty bad..pretty crowded

My first 3 runs were challenge 2x and switch and was like... ok. Here we go. 9.5 out of 10. Then reality hit like a punch in the face quickly as the cookies and sugar reared their ugly heads. In addition, the carbon county dump was out in full force under the lifts. They put the eye sore giant trash cans out but the funnels aren't on them which gives people a smaller target to throw their filth at, just creating more trash and the fact that we need to line our slopes with giant trash cans speaks to a much larger problem. Not to mention the giant trash cans don't help the littering issue anyway. All in all always better skiing but I'm gradually moving from stoked that the season is here phase to crap that irks me phase. -
1/4/25…pretty good..pretty crowded

I'm sure. This may be the first time I've gotten into January without doing a night session. I don't see it happening either, at least until the spring. -

Got there around 9:30 today and skied with the masses. It was ok. I somehow managed an empty main run t2b on good snow which was nice. I feel like main is sort of an unsung hero this year as far as conditions go. Everything else was decent to shitty, with the shitty being wherever the sugar was deepest, mainly on the flats and run outs. @Johnny Law told me im the lot that there's some good to be found however and that was true. The best part of the day was watching the multitude of people attempting to enter the VIP gate and baffled as to why it wasn't working. I guess people just automatically assume that they're VIPs....idk. When one liftie questioned one of them, he responded with "I have Icon" thinking that would get him through the pearly gates. It didn't and hats off to the liftie who, in response, told him "that's not a blue mountain pass, you need to get in the other line". -
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow you're only a day away. And Sunday
-
It took someone falling into the pond to actually get them to pump out that eye sore? How many beer cans did the lifties have to push aside to actually get to the person.

Nearly 50 years in business. You'd think they know not to blow snow onto the sensors by now

Yep I heard it along with some pretty heavy rain. Told myself that I was sleeping in today.

Sometimes it's more than conditions that make a great day. Thats the beauty of skiing. That was today.

9.2 out of 10 today in all seriousness I didn't hate it. It wasn't as good as last week but it had grip, the sun was out, the temperature was nice and the company was good. Fun morning overall
