  1. Would you use the 120 post stain? To finish it off basically?
  2. I think I'm done with the pressure wash. Picked up a belt sander to remove the rest of the stain and smooth things out before applying the new stain. What's a good grit to use? Thinking 80 or 100?
  3. This is post memorial day too. https://www.pennlive.com/news/2021/06/pa-has-streak-of-sub-500-covid-19-case-counts-daily-update.html Pa. has streak of sub-500 COVID-19 case counts: daily update Pennsylvania reported 297 new COVID-19 cases for Monday, after reporting 321 new cases for Sunday and 488 for Saturday. For comparison, Pennsylvania twice had more than 10,000 daily cases during the worst of the pandemic in early January.
  4. Who would you consider to be hardcore PASRs? And hardcore as in hardcore poster or hardcore as in hardcore Skier? or both? I would consider you both.
  5. Working hard to get those thread views @GrilledSteezeSandwich?
  6. 580 new cases in PA today. Been a long time since we've seen that.
  7. So are you insinuating that it was created in another lab (let's say Lab A or somewhere else all together), and transported to Lab B, then accidentally released from there. I'm not understanding. If it was leaked from the lab, whether by accident or not, it likely came from there. Yes these are two different things but I think TP4 was trying to illustrate the origins of the virus, which was the freaking lab.
  8. Looks good. I sanded some but but will probably just start staining once I'm done with the pressure wash. The wood, thankfully, is in really good condition. No need for soap / cleaner from what I can see so far.
  9. It's a mess and I'm picking up the new spindles this week but here's where I'm at with it.
  10. Rain is fantastic....good bye pollen and pressure washed the shit out of my deck yesterday. Sanding the rest off before staining. Taking @JFskiDans advice and buying new spindles. Progress!
  11. We're officially lower now than we were in April of last year.
  12. Ran into Optimus Prime in brodheadsville today.
  13. Dude I smell it every freaking time I drive past. Its amazing. I should've tore up on one before I started this dang diet.
  14. Game changer indeed. There's a Rita's near there too. Hot soft pretzels and a cold Ritas is what's up.
  15. We go to both but I personally will do everything I can To avoid the zoo that is shop rite. Weis is just more laid back and a less stressful experience...plus I like to play the claw machine on the way out.
  16. I went into Weis in Broadheadsville this afternoon. Forgot my mask so went in feeling like I'd be wearing the scarlet letter. Turns out most of the employees were maskless and a bunch of customers too. Felt like the old days.
  17. Oh it's necessary... but exhausting none the less.
  18. I feel that. I'm getting pretty annoyed with flying myself. Not that I'm afraid...its just the whole driving to the airport, paying to park, shuttle or long walk to terminal, waiting in tsa line, taking off your shoes and taking out your tablet, getting your junk scanned, waiting at the gate for an hour plus...longer if your flights delayed, sitting next to a jackass, waiting to get off the plane, rinse and repeat if you have a layover, waiting for your bags, renting a car or waiting for a shuttle. Shits exhausting.
  19. How long did that race last? 1.3 seconds?
  20. I'm certain paid parking is coming. Do they charge pass holders at Camelshit?
  21. We went up to Wilkes Barre and enjoyed sushi at Wegmans, went to Lowes and some of the other shops up there. Felt normal today. Everything was packed. Most people masked.
  22. Correct. People hear that I have a kid in college and they think I'm AARP. Then they see my youthful and rugged good looks along with my ability to tear up the slopes and they can't believe it. In all honesty I loved being a dad in my 20s. And now my kids friends think I'm the coolest Dad ever since I'm light-years cooler (and younger) than theirs...no offense to them, but it's true.
  23. No. Justice of the peace at a wedding hall type of place.
  24. We got married at the beach (Chincoteague island...by a boat captain) just us mainly because we didn't want people to do anything. Told most people we got married after the fact.
  25. Another article on this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.phillyvoice.com/blue-mountain-resort-camelback-skiing-pennsylvania-carbon-county/amp/
