It's done wonders for my live TRs.
-
Correct. I'll leave Blue when I leave PA. That's about it.

Despite the camelback affiliation...I don't hate this. Same ownership (at least for now) meaning Barb continues to call the shots with an influx of $ for legit capital improvements. Prediction...for the short term...the Vista lodge gets started and coming soon gets snowmaking and lightning. Long term we'll see the Waterpark up top, serious terrain expansion to the east, perhaps a base lodge revamp (goodbye tent city). Honestly, given the rumors about Vail or whatever over the years, this could be a best case scenario for us. Only thing I don't like is the fact that ksl owns camelback.

The splash back still has to be terrible. I hate using public bathrooms in the summer while wearing shorts solely because of splash back. If I get a drop on my leg I'm soaping up and washing off my legs. Then if I'm at a store or something I walk with wet legs and people think I'm crazy. It's a serious problem.

Eyeliner complements ones eyes. Posters complement your man cave. Rims complement your car. Tight jeans compliment my ass. Blue mountain doesn't complement camelback. Blue mountain makes camelback feel like I'm skiing on a septic mound.

Wtf does this mean? Camelback has no business being in the same sentence with blue. “KSL Resorts is excited to manage Blue Mountain Resort as it’s located in one of the Poconos’ most spectacular settings and is the ideal complement to Camelback’s numerous indoor and outdoor adventures – especially with its close proximity,"

Pulled the space heaters out of the garage. On a bright note (pun intended) looking like sunshine all week. I get to test out my the solar battery pack I just picked up!

I'm sure it would be tough for her to just walk away given that it's basically the family business. Her dad I'm sure put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the place

Wow. Big things happening.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2021/05/05/covid-vaccine-distribution-variants-mask-cdc-biden-india/4947182001/ Hospitalizations and deaths should decline sharply by July if the nationwide vaccination program remains strong and community mitigation efforts are followed, according to a federal report released Wednesday....

They're still open. Close this weekend.

Rumor has it Crested Butte is the spot next season. Only western hill that I'm pretty sure that I'm skiing next season is Arizona Snowbowl. Not sure about anything else out west yet. Outside of PA Probably whiteface / ORDA again. I've been mapping out trips by car from the phoenix area. Joshua Tree is 4.5 hours. Death valley is about 5.5. these are places that I've been wanting to visit and could very well skip skiing to see these places. When in Rome. I just need to figure it all out.

True story. Phillycore and I slept in bunk beds at @Barbs old place in winter park. Dan had the baller suite that trip.

What shall we wager? You win.... we go on a ski trip next season. I win...we go on a ski trip next season. Deal?

Night skiing is a money maker contingent solely on the amount of school, scout, club groups etc they can sell. Our school does ski club at BB and there are a few others in the area do as well but the massive amount of school ski clubs coming from the east (western NJ, stroudsburg etc.) are going to Shawnee or CB and the south / LV are going to Blue. That said I don't know how profitable (if at all) it would be for frost to offer night skiing. For the record I don't think BB goes out of business. I've seen the place absolutely slammed on weekends with lessons and such when I taught there. Lake Harmony is a tourist destination. I'd be shocked if they shudder BB.

Since today is analogy day on PASR.... He went from Bear creek to pow mow? thats like going from pee wee t-ball to the 7th game of the world series.

Excellent analogy. Well done

I think this most recent downward trend is beginning to account for more and more of the general population being vaccinated. Hopefully it keeps going down until it levels off. All of our household (sans my 11 yo and 8 yo) are officially vaccinated.

Super dooper looper was my younger daughters first upside down coaster. Sky rush is my favorite of all time, tied with expedition everest. How's candimonium?

They look great. Nice work. We just dropped dough on a paver patio project we got in the works. Jelly because if I had any skills at all we could've saved some $$.
