  1. Vaccine Part deux has been received.
  2. That drive to Williamsport may have paid off big time for you. glad you're good. Sorry about your co workers.
  3. So close and the weather can be drastically different too. What's up with the whole interconnect deal. Is that happening?
  4. @mbike-ski update from yesterday https://nyskiblog.com/belleayre-not-giving-up/ Edit...sorry this is from Saturday
  5. Concur on the views from Brighton. From solitude I belive you're looking out at the back side of PC / DV...amazing how close they actually are. You'll never know by driving it. Here's a one of my favorite ski trip pics ever that I took from Brighton that I often use as my phone wallpaper.
  6. Getting #2 tomorrow.
  7. I was thinking about you knowing you were planning on Sunday. If I had to guess I'd say 50-50 or 60-40 they open...it'll probably be very limited though. It's not normal first week of April Belle. Snow is sparse with the exception of roaring brook which good coverage and Tongora. Everything else was thin or bare. Deer Run was ok coverage wise but fading real fast. Everything from the superchief loading area up to the lodge was more brown than white. I'd definitely keep an eye on the weather but I'd probably wouldnt expect much if they are open. If they go past this weekend I'd be shocked.
  8. Took my first real fall off the season on onteora. Slammed the brakes hard when I saw a bare spot prompting a fall. I guess it was better than hitting it and ejecting forward. Definitely rough in spots. Definitely can't let it go which is somewhat frustrating but it is what it is given the weather I guess.
  9. Really thin in spots...brown and bare in certain areas require pumping the brakes. Similar to what blue looked like last week
  10. The bluest of blue bird beautiful spring today. Snows great... non-existent off piste. Very thin, fading fast but nice on. Made it in less than 3 hours with a pee stop / gas fill up. Looking out toward plattekill and it looks rough over there (not sure if they're even open). Time to work on the goggle tan. Grate day!
  11. Wow. Guess they'll need it for legal fees and what not.
  12. If I ski tomorrow it'll be with my 11 year old. Grabbed a pass for Belle next week then I guess calling it a season....a very good one at that.
  13. Looks like the weather got them. Closed for the season
  14. Not sure if you plan on skiing out west or not. If not the NE pass at $479 is an absolute no brainer if JFBB is your home Mt. $359 for the midweek is nuts. Ski a few midweek days at stowe and that pays for itself.
  15. Tonight was fun. There was an even more rare than Haley's comet sighting at Blue this evening... a toast night sesh. Challenge probably had the best coverage which was surprising. The amount of snow lost this week is crazy. You could actually see clouds of snow evaporation in certain areas. Spring conditions but not sloppy surprisingly...could get speed but had to check it at times to avoid bare spots. All in all fun night.
  16. There's no way they would've gotten past Sunday. March wasn't kind.
  17. Empty, corn, beautiful temps. Really nice evening. I haven't seen blue mountain this bare / brown in a long time. Thet lost a ton since I was here Sunday. That said it's a heavenly evening out here. Enjoy it while you can.
  18. Not surprised..was warm as hell out too
  19. Should be nice later. Shooting for 4:30 to 5 arrival.
  20. Because they suck and Blue doesn't.
  21. Damn...Pfizer or Moderna?
  22. What were the common symptoms (nausea etc.)? I go next week.
