I was telling benm yesterday about the famous Utah helmet story. One of the scariest moments for me (excluding my dumb accidents of course) on the snow. That however didn't change the fact that that trip was fucking awesome...not just for the pow we skied every day but because you're a great friend and a blast to hang out with. Miss you dude. Get back out there soon.

Today was the bomb dot com. Sick on so many levels. From bright sunshine, to 5 star restaurant food to conditions. Speaking of...Conditions this morning into the near afternoon were a carpet. Not just any carpet...a carpet so good Empire Today would use it to create a new line to install in peoples homes. (It would be called "Elk Cord".) Around 10 or so Krispy Kreme and beers were had then it was back out on the snow. The cord slowly transformed into a packed pow surface akin to what you would find out west. The Tunkhannock bumps were off the chain good as was everything pretty much from Tuscarora, Iroquois, Slalom, Mohawk to Kickapoo, Tecumseh etc. Even skied seneca under the double which was fun, but rarely open when I go. Around 1:30 or 2, His Rummyness rolled in with famous Old Forge Pizza which was 10 out of 10. Then@enjoralas brought out the meat, the scents of which attracted crowds including some very nice ladies from Hazelton (I think) who tore up a few ribs themselves. Toasts bread was manna from Heaven, filled with pork was a party in my mouth. What a day! Thanks to enjo, toast, Rummy for the food and everyone who came, brought something or just skied and had a great time. Today is what winter is all about!
