I know..if I don't make it, I have only myself to blame. I am gonna try to make it up this Sunday, weather permitting. I have some 08 Elans to get some runs on.

Kton on Sunday and MRG Monday.

If the weather looks nice...I might swing up. I still have a debt to pay.

There were reports from all over Vermont saying that it was the best snow that people ever experienced in Vermont. Sure enough it was. After 20" from Fri-Sat, there was another 6" over night and it kept dumping all day for another 6" Sunday. It was truely EPIC, it was the lightest snow I ever skied in this side of Utah. It was the kinda day that made a season.

The areas run out of skiers before they run out of snow.

I have skied on skis for one run, then sold them. I have sold skis that I bought before I even took them out of the wrappers. As far as not being a serious skier skiing Blizzards. The level of intelligence is remarkable here.

I picked up a pair for myself and I know where there is another pair. These are FIS legal skis and real beefy. The Vist system is awesome and bulletproof. Bindings are a 6-14 DIN. These skis have less than 2 days on them. $400.00

My bad....No can do. I have to pick my son up at the train Monday. I thought he was coming in Monday night at 10, turns out, it is Monday morning he is coming in. Just as well, I should rest my knee another week anyway.

I am trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Taking care of my obligation to ski Blue and to try out my knee before I head back to Vermont next week. IF and right now it is a big IF, I head up Monday, it will be in the AM, getting there for first tracks and out when it starts getting crowded around 10-11ish. Another IF, if I go, I will be taking it easy. Right now, it is still up in the air.

So I returned the spaceframes and bought something else

My wife tore her ACL and MCL last year and is 100% this year. I might be back on snow at the end of this month with my Strained MCL. After 2 weeks is still hurts and I don't think I could ski on it today if I wanted too. even at Blue..where there is a Subaru day. -
What some people will do to get out of skiing at Blue Mtn.

I know...I ain't all too happy about it. I was supposed to be back at Kton this weekend and MRG the following. I have Steamboat booked for March 3-10 too. -
This was not intended but...I might not make it to Blue as I promised. Another Bear goes down. I will uphold my end of the bet, it just might not be this season.

OK, I have 2 pair of skis that are similier, these and some Seths. I ordered these early on and wasn't sure if I was going to see them and got the Seths "just in case" and low and behold the Goodes did arrive. It is an unbeleavably light ski perfect for someone who wants a ski for back country. I would have no quams tearing up the Seths at MRG or eastern trees, but not a ski of this caliber. I am tempted to put some AT bindings on them, but I know I won't get full use out of them. I am not actively selling them, but is someone is really looking and wants needs them, I would be willing to part with them. PM me with your thoughts. TWIN-TIP, BIG MOUNTAIN, MIXED SNOW, OFF-PISTE AND BACKCOUNTRY SKIING - The twin-tip VISIONTM 96 is the perfect Big Mountain ski. It is excellent for high speed Big Mountain skiing. The twin-tip design will help you negotiate those tight couloirs. If you find yourself in less than ideal skiing conditions, the VISIONTM 96's sidecut will easily cut through the ice and wind crust. Great backcountry skiing. It reduces uphill climbing effort by over 50%. It also provides a very stable ride down all off-piste terrain because of its Carbon Fiber construction. It performs amazingly well on packed snow conditions, too. Available in three lengths (175cm, 185cm and 195cm). Ski color: Black / Green Graphics 126/96/113mm 1200grams

Eh, not going. I am going to stay home and wash the car and clean out the garage.

Was the Nordica van at Frost today?
-
Still thinking... IF I go...I will be wearing retro and be easy to spot out.
-
This is looking real bad...even with a free ticket and a demo..should I even bother?
-
Not missing..good things always happen in three's. Lets see what this weather brings and if its worth heading up or not.

Iggles/Giants is the late game. Yes, we have to do Blue yet, might look at a Sunday later this month..or a Monday twilight.

I know its not Blue, but I will be up there 1/7 for the Subaru/Nordica day. I will be in a blue Subaru shell/grey pants/grey Giro Fuse/slime green Kryptons. I plan on getting there early and bugging out by 2 at the latest to get home to watch the Iggles.
