2/3 is a Demo day at Elk. Some Bears are heading up. Can anyone make it? Discount tickets at Buckmans and Salters among others.

Anyone else having problems opening their site?

We want a bump camp with freestyle.

I am planning on sending my 16 y/old son to the Bumps & Jumps at Mt. Hood. He wants to go and work on (obviously enough) his moguls and jumps. Jumps like 3's and other various upright aerials. Looking at the CoC, it looks like more a park.freeride camp. Is there another camp besides the one at hood that is primarely a bump & jump camp? He is looking to go the last weekend in June.

LOL, I have 8 days in, 6 at Kton, 1 Mtt. Snow and 1 Okemo. Quite frankly, if these current conditions I wouldn't be out there anyway. I will get about 30 days in for the season, all in VT/Maine. I can live with that.

I am looking to send my 17 y/old son to Hood this summer. I will keep an eye on this thread.

After almost 30 years of skiing without one, i finally gave in last year. All of my concerns: heat, visability, hearing and weight were dismissed when I tried a Gir o Fuse. I love it and I don't even know I am wearing it. Give it a shot.

Thats a fine ski, but unless she is over 160lbs, you should concider a 150 cm. Aslo, boots are much more inportant than skis. Invest in boots, take her down to Nestors and get her fit in some good boots first. She will get more out of a better boot and a lesser ski than a lesser boot and a better ski. Get her into a good boot first, she can always demo skis till she finds what she likes. If you lppk at the upcoming events, you will see some demo days on the horizon.

Coming from someone who wasn't gonna ski with us anyway, it doesn't hod too much water . Concidering the conditions that will be up there, "skiing every day" doesn' excite me one bit. Skiing every day in VT or West, different story. But skiing the Poc's...eh.

I won't ski at all that day.

C'mon up, the more the merrier. I planned on being at Kton that weekend but soemthings changed. Plus there are some locals I want to make some turns with.
