yea for sure ian has some influence locally (sort of), you just cant deny talent thats all. but nah, i never saw nips. this car situation screwed me up bad. im still in pa waiting for the inspection to get done. tomorrow hopefully kind of feel bad about the whole situation with nips, but i couldnt really do anything about it. sorry man.

not that i dont love ian or anything, but hes a PR guy. thats it. doesnt really do anything with parks as far as construction/design. john and jesse are the ones that get shit done. being hooked up with red bull doesnt really mean anything either, he just knows the right people and works in the industry. ian will always be the little emo jack osbourne to me i wouldnt go as far as saying he can "make or break" people either. thats just silly

i actually thought it was dead on hes in summit county and reppin boulder haaard. no one gives a shit about boulder there. and so far everyone is saying boulder is terrible this year. the only way the statements above should be revoked is if ian actually learns something from being out in summit - and translates it into the way the parks are made at boulder. seems like he is just living it up and pretending to be important... which is what he usually does anyway.

like jeff said earlier. finding comfortable ski boots is easy. you just lose performance. youll be fine if youve never skied before. people that need the performance are the ones that have trouble.

stopped by nestors real quick for 3 hours. boots feeling better now. got to get on some snow to see whats up. ive spent at least 15 hours now trying to get these dialed

as far as an employee standpoint, it seems like CB is at least a good place to work now. giving park crew some more freedom and voice is always a good thing.

yea i got my skis mounted there. cool kids and all, bit of a gaper shop though. High altitude is right next to it as well im sure nips goes there often hahaha

yea i talked to kev about it for a little. his heel looks worse then mine actually. his is scary lookin. but yea, right on the back of the heel. i dont think a donut would help cause the pocket feels fine. i just feels in the wrong position.

adam worked with me (i think). im going back sometime this week. it just sucks because when i was originally gettin fitted i was complaining about totally different pain points. they all went away and the boot broke in a little, but it broke in some other problems too

i have huge ankle bones. and a really skinny heel. so pretty much the entire back half of my foot is the problem. the insdes of my heel dont hurt. the outsides do - when you tweak your foot or roll your ankle to grab/grip rails it pushes your bone out you know it feel like the ankle bone pocket/support in the liner is in the wrong position
