i suppose. from all the times ive been to bear they didnt really have anything that you could "progress" on. they had a long flat bar but not an equally long flat box to practice tricks. you guys are riding there all season so i cant say what you guys want. but you guys already have an s-rail. youre just adding to the circus. that s-rail is awesome though, i liked it. simplicity is usually the best way to go. it is nice to have features like an s-box or that u-box etc, but not out on the hill everyday. for everyday riding it should be varying sizes of flat boxes, flat rails in different widths and lengths, some mellow kinks etc. like, ive never seen a long flat box there. maybe cause i never rode there enough but all the boxes there were short, that i saw.

challenge as a park would be sooo deadly. youd only be able to ski it in late march early april. i really dont think they need to change a great deal of stuff. they have a great double barrel, good flat stock rail, some flat boxes, that awesome urban dfd, a good battleship box. they got a good amount of features and the potential to make good jumps. maybe just use round coping instead of square.

i dont work for bc obviously. but you do have to have some frame in the center to actually support the snow. it will essentially be built the same way a street ramp would, this will just have snow on it. you can see in the back, hes framing all of them

its meant to be a QP not a wallride, my bad. but still making them both that way is easier i would just like a wall ride to be not vertical. when he said skate style QP i assumed he meant snow would be shaped 3/4 of the way up to the lip, with the last few inches of the QP left bare UHWM. then have actual coping on top. that still allows you to carve up and air but having the coping/top section be solid and not snow, means youll always have a steady height with no chunks taken out or anything. for those of you that have seen "the freshtival" back in 06 i think, their wallride was dope. the frame/transition was built out of wood (like what andy is doing) and the snow was basically just pushed up and took shape of the frame.

^^thats how people need to start building wallrides if they want them to be vertical. theyre sooooo much easier to maintain.

are you really? thats awesome a little while ago there was a movie premier in boston. the kids puttin it on did a great job of advertising, hyping it up, and just plain gettin the word out. it was an all skier movie, no boarders. the day of the event brought so many kids to the theater. some people even flew in, just to see a movie. there is no doubt a demand for skiers, if they put on an event and the turnout is low...thats their fault. they didnt do a good enough job of showing they can provide something skiers want (whether it be a good park setup for a contest or a kickass movie). or nobody simply heard the event was going to happen. if they do things right, the event will be a success, thats almost guaranteed. they really just dont want to, and theyve already proved that.
