im not calling you out by any means here nick, but you should come to skier150's rail jam in september. should be crazy... so, how was woodward? you havent said anything
-
well then youre all set, right? no need to do anything else. and to be totally honest, youve been a fucking asshole to me too. i dont want to get into this cause i have to wake up in about 4 hours. but you talk a lot of shit for someone who has minimal/average skill level. nothing is ever good enough for you when infact it is better than you. skiing is not about big tricks, being better than someone, having more style, skiing faster, skiing harder or even having more days on snow. its about being out there and feeling free, doing what you want and what you like to do. just escape everything and try and better yourself at the things you do. stop comparing and start focusing on yourself. encourage, partcipate, interact, but dont judge or hate. and how are the local shops not major companies in the ski industry? you just lost all your buying privelages in local shops. now i have to wake up in 3 and a half hours... edit - well, having more days on snow, thats questionable haha.

papa, get with it. ski season already started. ski mania is over

heres my criticism... the 'new c box' is not new. its the same as the old one. the up down rail will only be good if its long, or really mellow. the 'lipslide' box (depending on how they set it up) is not very challenging. if they set it up as a butter wall, great but it seems kinda small for that (i figure the garage door is 10-14 feet, so that box/wall would be around 7 feet? give or take) and if they set it up as a box (sliding it like a battleship) then thats just stupid, the angle is too steep) good job on the flat down rail though and yes tp4...circuse rails, but hey, CB has to come out and say "hey look at our parks, we have big, crazy shit too" o yea, the up and down rails too...nice. but make the landing pretty huge for the up rail. and dennis, this is old. or maybe i just have no life simpsons are on now...

yea, its been on for the past 3 days. they moved it like 4 times since then.

not really, but maybe youll find some of this stuff fat as hell Ski blades- 'groove' brand with line ff cam bindings child snowboard boots, Burton- dalbello ski boots- child ski boots, Nordica- child snowboard clip bindings, K2 clickers- i can describe them, and i have more pics. but i highly doubt anyone will want this stuff. but it will all go cheap if someones interested.

how huge is this tree bonk? you mean huge as in tall/high? or like a foot high redwood? nice job on the wall ride though, its nice to have different angles to play around with. and please, can we get away from these car jibs. i think theyre pretty pointless and never work out good (see, Boulder) the only way you can make a car jib work IMO is if you get a semi in there and make it a butter box. cars are too small and you cant slide it like a box/rail. UNLESS...you mean yourw building a box/rail on top of the car (like the smith limo) in which case, thats fuckin sweet.

dont know, never used it yet. its the jacket i traded for my puffy.

how bad can it be? maybe if you drive 60+ but i dont feel safe doing that with 100 pounds of gear on the roof, and 500 punds of extra people in the car. 600 pounds of weight on a car that weighs maybe 900 pounds haha

i think i figured out they dont fit my car. i need artificial rain gutters to make it work (or buy a new rack) so anybody got artificial rain gutters for sale? theyre 50 bucks in shops
-

what day is it best to go? i got to thinkin, last year im pretty sure they didnt have all of the stuff out till the weekend. all i need is a pullover fleece, but might want some other stuff if its a good deal. and what about ski racks?
-
ok, thanks a lot
-
is that the same stuff as say, liquid nails?
-
while your online can you answer a question? what type of glue did you use for your formica?
-
nevermind
-
^i ski that early. 8-10 sometimes
-
so, i just got back from buying the rest of my materials. topsheet was 47 bucks for a 4x8 sheet of formica. thats enough to cover both of my boxes, with a little extra. i got 5, 10 ft black steel pipe for 10 bucks a piece. so all together it was like 100 bucks (not including wood, cause i goot wood for free) not bad. i guess
-
i was hoping more fore suggestions/info to help me save money the depot wont sell/give scraps, and neither will the kitchen stores
-
so, plexi glass is soft as shit formica is actually expensive - 60 bucks for two 13 foot boxes, that are 1 foot wide. i think she said $1.53/sq ft uhmw/hdpe is even more expensive. so what the hell? im making two boxes and so far i have only spent like 10 bucks on screws. now im down to the topsheet/coping and i think total its gonne be like 200 bucks. pipe is around 60 bucks.
