Ride Delaware ?

It is beating a dead horse, but what will we have to talk about until the big announcement comes out? I mean, I get the slow lift concept... I'd much rather have slow lifts with preserved snow quality than high speed lifts that wear me out and get me bored of the mountain within 2 hours... I think we just keep talking about the lifts because new management had talked about putting in an hsq when they took control of the mountain? And they haven't... Yet?

I got out at SR for four runs when I got up here yesterday, and it's pretty rough here too... Definitely some applesauce with some decent bare spots... It rained pretty hard, so I have no idea what the mountain looks like now, but it is going to take some major resurfacing to get back to where they were a week ago... I've heard that the cold air trapped in Alaska is starting to move East into Canada, so hopefully that will continue and the cold temps will arrive soon... The next week looks up and down, but the end of the ten day looks reassuring...

Most of the bell employees were cut last year from full to part time... No additional cuts were made this year from what I've heard... They may not want the added infrastructure, but they need more $ going into that economy... So many of those towns are basically ghost towns...

A legit cross course would be sweet... I liked the little thing Blue put together last year... Would have been way better on a larger scale...

Another typical week for the NE coming up... Cold weather followed by a warmup... Shits getting old quick...

I looked at Palmerton earlier, and it looks marginal one or two nights in the next ten, so I doubt that will accomplish much...

Not to be a downer, but unless the temps drop pretty drastically in the Palmerton microclimate, I would say Dec 9 is not going to happen...

You won't be disappointed with Platty if you got it before the switch to Gore... Plus you can check out some of the mountain bike lines... I've heard it can be fun...

I'm not saying they are the same by any means, but there are definitely parallels between Belleayre and Montage... Especially in relation to maintenance and old school snowmaking...

I really enjoy Platty as well... Great mountain, great vibe, and great snow... They average like 165 or more a year, so the glades are fun too...

Switching them out as availability decreases? Gore also a good snag... That there makes up for a majority of the cost...

I know everyone likes to see a price, but I think he was trying to get someone to put up a fair offer...

I'm usually a Burton whore, but with boots I'm a little different. They are the only thing I buy full price at a store, and I try everything on. If the fit is right, the brand doesn't matter...

I don't know what the base is like, but Killington jumped to 22 trails yesterday, to 34 today with access at Ramshead... The Beast is Back!!!
