I think you just missed it. Reports on AlpineZone have people still snagging them at 9. Sometimes they release a second set. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I'm really pushing for an October ski day this year. If Killington makes it, I'll be there.

That's when they have typically put them online. I'm assuming it's the same. It's not advertised well. I bought mine last year at 8:30 and they only had the ski 3s left. However, you can buy multiples of those and they will only cost you about $10 more. Well worth it.

Yeah, you get 3 tickets (or 5) but can only use one at a resort 3 (or 5) different ones...

You can't use them back to back or at the same resort. It would be ideal to do something like Stowe - Bush - Killington, but that's how it works. One ticket at any 3...

I wouldn't have used all mine if I didn't use the last two at Killington late season. Like I said, we can get comped at some mountains (some don't), but it's a gentleman's rule. I can't use it lots of days. It's once or twice a season. If you abuse it you lose it. So, with some places I will get it to avoid that or cover if they don't comp.

Last year it was $130. I'm assuming it will be similar this year. Savings are maximized when you use at the expensive ones (Stowe, Sugarbush, Stratton, Okemo, and Killington), but it can be used at any on that list...

Ice is starting to fill in up in Siberia and temps up north are starting to trend with their average temps. October skiing anyone?

It's not cheap to maintain a mountain. If they don't have outside revenue, I'm sure the owners don't want to pay out of their butts to keep it open and operating like a major player.

I agree. It seemed like a logical decision based on cost and children. Split Rock legit open in October one year, or just an October snowstorm?

I remember the Hazleton trip. You had to drive to get that. Just saw a vid on AZ of the trucking. That looked gnarly. Early season hike? Anybody actually ski there when there was a lift?

Now that the season is getting closer to starting every day, I thought I would see when everybody logged their earliest day. I've routinely posted mid November days since 11/12 (when I was at SR), but my earliest day was posted November 4, 2013 at Killington via the Stairway to Heaven.

I never use my backup camera. They are required by 2017. Doesn't matter that my subie has it since I never use it.

Looks like temps are finally starting to normalize. 10 day is putting temps in VT around 60 with lows around 40. Could be riding K in a month...

I'm going to sound like a snob, but I don't ever intend on going to Killington on a weekend. If I do, I'll go to Pico. There's other resorts where no lift is busy on weekends, so why juggle the crowds?
