  1. What's the temp have to be there then, 80? I went there my whole senior year and there were plenty of days it was spring like in the mid 40s. I'm a little skeptical, but you've been living the Doug Lyfe for years. Who am I to question your lyfes knowledge? Nah mean?
  2. I mean t2b. The Main Street chair doesn't go t2b. It goes t2b in that there is a t and a b, but not t2b of the whole mountain. 6 pack or quad, your choice. And temps in the 40's tomorrow? It would be plenty spring like by noon.
  3. I think that guy in the background is eyeing up your mad steezey rims yo!!! Better lock that shit down!!!
  4. With the colder temps coming early next week, I don't see why they couldn't be open Black Friday. They could probably open ungroomed with spring conditions as early as tomorrow. Blue regulars would know better, but any chance at t2b for Black Friday?
  5. They say that the new system they installed several years ago is quite productive. I guess we will know soon.
  6. Easy. Lower prices lead to more customers. Look at Black Mountain and Bigrock in Maine. Both were run by a non profit that is trying to bring cheaper skiing to Maine. They dropped prices to $15 a ticket anytime last season and had the most skier visits and revenue ever, and by a large margin. They operated at a loss, but estimate profits in a couple years. All for the price of $15.
  7. Sugarbush receiver a VZ tower 3-4 years ago. Mostly 2-3 bars 3G here. AT&T is 1-2 bars and I've heard T Mobile and Sprint are basically non existent. Sunday River got Verizon real well depending on the peak (4 bars), but other peaks and some valleys would get 0 bars. AT&T I heard was a little more reliable with some Sprint service, but limited T Mobile.
  8. I saw that in another thread. Somebody quoted the original, but it was missing upon further review. Odd...
  9. Hmm. Misinformed I guess. I was going off what I had heard two + years ago before table games were approved and the hotel opened. Glad to see it's doing better. If there was a "I fucked up button," I'd push it.
  10. Look at all the work PA/Sands has done in Bethlehem to the infrastructure. Huge costs for that work. And word on the street is that the Sands is vastly underperforming. With Pocono Raceway so close, I can't imagine they would grant another license.
  11. I forgot that the new goal is to blow the Glen lift first, and since there isn't a webcam there, it looks like nothing has been done. Thanks.
  12. Yeah, I just saw the forecast for next week and came to revise my prediction lol
  13. If the damage isn't much worse, they could pull off an opening next week.
  14. That is new right? Last time I was there was 2010 and I think it was under construction. How are the attractions? I think the water park is an excellent idea and will be a huge attraction and money maker. I'm just not sure if a 453 room hotel will work.
  15. Hopefully they have enough snow to make it to the colder temps on Tuesday to keep PA in the game.
  16. The webcams looked green. Might be blowing down by the Glen lift to get the early season park open.
  17. To put this indoor water park in perspective, if the stats I have found online are correct, other indoor water parks are sized as stated below: Greek Peak, NY - 41,000 sq ft Jay Peak, VT - 50,000 sq ft Great Wolf Lodge, PA - 80,000 sq ft Camelback, PA (proposed) - 120,000 sq ft
  18. Or donate food/toys. I like the idea. They used to do the same thing at SR.
  19. It would definitely be nice to have somebody on the ground keeping us up to date. Have they even started making snow?
  20. You know it was bad if Toast, Root, and Jeff went to CB for the Sunbowl trail...
  21. I am assuming you work CB during ski season and Park 1260 during the off season? Hopefully someone gets back to you. Nice to see you reaching out here.
  22. Hotel/indoor water park?
  23. It's hard to believe they were closed 3 weeks. Wow.
  24. That's when I was there lol
  25. This has nothing to do with BB telecoms, but at Sugarbush we have Waitsfield Telecom, and they own the cable and phone rights, so they have decided to only use DSL instead of cable so they can hit you up for a phone connection too. All the infrastructure is in place for cable Internet, but no...
