Ride Delaware ?

I'm back in the 302. Yesterday was supposed to get up to 80, but it never got close. Hovered around the low 70s all day and was definitely a little chilly with the wind. I love cold weather, but I wasn't prepared for fall so soon.

There hasn't been any news on the litany of deals they had last year has there?

Unfortunately, it's still hovering about 70 and humid down here, but high temps seem to have mellowed into the mid 80s. I don't have the scientific data to prove it, but I don't think this summer has been as hot as the past two. The days have been getting shorter since June 21, scientifically speaking, the northern hemisphere started cooling July 21, and in just a short month, our northern brethren will begin reporting leaf changing. In 3 months K-Mart and SR will start monitoring the whether to see who will be first to blow and first to open, the annual battle of how much terrain and vertical drop is necessary to claim yourself as open will begin, and all of us skiers and riders will be the beneficiaries. It never comes soon enough for me.

$350 unlimited? If I were a Montage Passholder, I'd be waiting in line...

I guess that's far more important than the water park lol. Now that I'm no longer in Maine for a whole season, I'm hoping I can take advantage of some deals and get a couple days in PA. Wouldn't mind getting back to Montage.

Hows the water park been doing this season? Sales up? Usually somebody chimes in on going there, but its been pretty quiet so far.

The hottest months are ahead, but the days are getting shorter... I'm always ready for winter... The beach just tides me over...

It's all downhill from here... 4 months and K will be making snow... I'm planning another early November trip if the weather cooperates...

Shows you how much I've been out this year. It's definitely warming up... Finally. I usually tolerate 65 for a little while, but I won't stay in for sustained amounts of time until it's like 70. My body usually can't take it. Good to know it's getting better. Are you doing drive around security or pool/foot security?

The water is only about 60. I highly doubt he is suiting up to go bodysurfing. It's been a chilly spring, so water temps have been slow to rise.

I'm just going to be a part time volunteer now. No more full time. Resort architecture and land planning is one of my hobbies.

From the pics in that article it looked like the water park would be to the left of the access road if I were driving toward the lodge. Aren't there a couple lots/parking on the side of the road there?

I would imagine that has to be the plan. CB adds attractions every year. I would imagine that after Sno Cove gets their finances in order and appropriate renovations done, that they will also add to their water park. So if I am reading this correctly, all of the attractions will be to the left of the current access road in that flat spot? Does that not effect parking?

Has there been a master site plan posted? I would love to see exactly where the park will go and what road improvements/moving they have to do in order to get this done. Furthermore, one of the articles says that they are doing this because they want to fuel a year round business to justify a hotel. That being said, isn't the planned hotel supposed to be in the valley while the waterpark and early season snowmaking is concentrated at the top?

Is it going to make ski access a PITA next season, or do you think they will clean it up before then and then restart in the spring?
