Ride Delaware ?

I'm just basing it off past years... Very little changes from year to year in the terrain opening procedure... I took some pics while free riding yesterday, and I'll post a TR ASAP...

It's good to hear that the mountains are finally getting some terrain open... With Christmas being subpar, they will need to have an awesome MLK weekend...

It looks like they have been keeping a gun or two on at the base for resurfacing each night, and I am sure they are blowing a bunch off the quad... At the very least they should get some of the mid mountain stuff open and connect it with Tioga...

I can tell you from a fact they don't have the ability to blow on everything at once... They will concentrate on several trails and open them... I would expect several more trails by the weekend...

NP... If any of you get up here, you'll know all the specifics on the conditions... I'm just glad everyone is in the game now...

You can get a general idea... I went down a snowmaking trail today that hadn't been groomed, and while there were gaps in between mounds, I could tell coverage was going to be good after a whole night of poundage lol

Low of -5 here tonight, high of 25 tomorrow... I'm sure all mountains will be blowing around the clock!!!

They have by far and away beat everyone in regards to expansion in trails vs actual acreage...

I can't wait for them to go negative and bring some moisture... This freeze thaw December/January weather blows...

Another significant cold spell coming through... I'm hoping this one will be the beginning of winter...

I've picked up a couple things as I continue to learn how to layer properly... Picked up a merino wool base layer, an under armour light weight fleece, a burton heavy weight fleece, and 3 pairs of smart wool socks... I also got a new pair of smith goggles with interchangeable lenses for low light use...

I know it's a completely different climate, but Elk guarantees 100 days... 65 is barely 2 months... They shouldn't have to pull any Tom Fullery to get to that number lol

Snowshoe also has a yearly motorcycle rally, an my father has partaken in said event... Snowshoe is definitely a step up fom Blue... It beats pretty much everything I've been to in PA, that much I can confirm... It even has by beloved Elk Mountain beat... That being said, I haven't been to Timberline, but my fiends have... Similar snowfall tithe Shoe, but slightly less... Also less vert... It has a very laid back feel, isn't sold out, and rocks two slow lifts from the top... Very old school, but very fun... Snowmaking is also a little lacking... They make snow but don't have the power to open runs as quickly or recover...

Even after looking at the map, I still can't figure out which bridge that is... Can anyone clarify using some landmarks?

Temps are definitely dropping quick... I took a run up to SR and the temp dropped 5 degrees in the 20 minutes I was there...

Seriously, WTF is with this weather? The whole NE is getting shafted...

How much snow does Bear typically close with? Most mountains can usually stick it out another week or two, but close early because of lack of crowds blah blah blah... Camelback is the only one I know that has religiously stuck it out until the snow is pretty much gone over the past couple years I've been...

I just saw that the storm track appears to be targeting the pacific northwest and will track straight along the US Canadian Border... Hopefully that gets us some snow...

No clue, Paula Abdul ain't quite my style... Glad to hear some snowmaking temps are arriving again... Everyone is going to need it when this mess freezes back over... Low singles to low -s up at the mountain tomorrow night...

It's not just down south either buddy... We're getting some mix to nair right now... Just a tough year... The arctic needs to start pushing some cold air down...
