  1. Yeah, I do these days. During the week I am a snowboarder.... shhh. Were you in the cafateria?
  2. Well, if a person pays an hourly rate for a lesson they get the privelage of not having to pay extra to stand in line. You may not be too happy if you paid $75 for a private hour, and ended up standing in line for 45 minutes...
  3. Just wanted to remind everyone that the program starts next Saturday 12/17 at 9am. If you are already signed up for a different program at Blue you can change over to Freeride without an issue! You can also join up at any time during the 10 weeks, unfortunately there is no discount for missing days. Beginner or Expert, you will get something out of this program. To have a coach work with you on anything you want for 4 hours a day can only better your ability in the end. Don't be embarrased if you can't do a 180 or slide a rail.. we already have some first timers signed up! Come on out to Blue this weekend and look for us in the park, we are happy to answer any of your questions about the program or your skiing.
  4. Yes, ITC is kind of fun. You get to meet new people and better your riding. The cost inlcludes lift tickets for the 2 days that will allow you to ride after as well. You will also get more chances to ride during the following 2 weeks of apprenticeship. I know everybody who run both ski and snowboard, you should have a decent time. We need more instructors, so tell anyone who is interested to check it out. The pay scales have been chenged this year to provide better pay and shorter lessons.... 50% better than last year actiually.

    Footbeds

SuperFeet is what I have in all my boots.
  6. There is still a ton of snow on Main St. They lost a lot on the trails that were not blown as much.
  7. Of course i will be there for opening at 8:30am.
  8. Yes, definately people. Send an email or give Blue a call. If they see the extra interest they may let us do something for opening weekend. It would also be a good way for people to find out more about the Freeride programs a couple of weeks before they start... becuase at least one of our coaches will be there at any given time. We (freeride ski coaches) oficially opened our "private" park this weekend. (2) 90' runs with (1) 20' flat down box and (1) 16' adjustable double-barrell rail. We even had some snow today on the box run. Pics and movies of opening day will be posted shortly. We have been training all summer at Lake Placid and at our park to make sure that the students get the best experience possible!
  9. They also started blowing on Sidewinder Park!
  10. I am thinking about ordering the Raiden Phantom binding to replace my SP6's. Does anyone have any comments on the Raiden's?
  11. Not at Blue yet, I am looking at it right now. I will post as soon as they turn the guns on!

    Park Crew

Freeride Ski Progam Head & Certified Snowboard Instructor. Park Crew is going to be restructured for this season. There will be more people on staff, as well as skiers! None of this has been completely ironed out yet though.
  13. You should have come to the movie!
  14. Thanks for all your help Tre, you did a great job!
  15. I had kind of a bad crash last season and then had to go to Okemo hurt for the freeride accreditaion. There was an instructor at Okemo that let us try the pads. I got home and contacted Crash-Pads about getting them on pro-form. They gave me a great discount, and I thought their product was the best out there. I then contacted them about the movie event and they were the first one to donate product. It turns out they are great company as well!

    Snowboard Helmet

I have the 9.9MX and love it.
  17. Ahhh, good point. Just wait till you see all the changes for the pipe and park at Blue this year.
  18. We want to thank everyone that come out to support us tonight at the movie!! Unfortunately Pelican Ski Shop in Quakertown backed out of their aggreed deal to donte skis to the event by not returning our phone calls. Also, we could not get the surround sound to sync up, that is why we only had the front speakers working. Other than that I have to say that things went well. We hope that everyone had a good time and enjoyed the movie. If you won a item, or caught one... congratulations. I wonder if the girl who traded the crash-pad top knows that it is worth over $200.00. I heard she traded it for a t-shirt! What did everyone think of our choice of venues? If anyone has any suggestions for our next show, let me know. I know I met some PASR people there, but my brain was working overtime so I do not remember everyone's name...
  19. Blue Mountain... the only resort in the mid atlantic with a PSIA Freeride Accredited Coach.
  20. Last bump, weare heading over to start setting up now.
  21. Ok, so I was told that if we get more people at the SH6 event than the MSP event last week there will be a second pair of skis added to the give-away pot. The Theatre holds 550 people, so we have PLENTY of room!
  22. http://freeriders.itgo.com
  23. I just added some more goodies to the list. We are getting down to the last minute, so some other things we were promised may not make it to us on time. I will probably update it once more before Sunday. I hope everyone enjoys this event. Seeing this movie on the big screen with like 20 speakers in a cool theartre should be awesome! The proceeds from this event will help the coaches and students with expenses that the mountain does not cover.
  24. The ones I know of: Chopper Litespeed Stealth C-Note
  25. Great, thanks. Yes, mention PASR or show the sticker or wear the shirt. Just make sure let the person in booth know that you deserve the discount!
