Just wanted to let everyone know that we will still be having the rail jam on Saturday 10/27. We have been working on setting up almost 4000 square feet of tarps over most of the park and viewing areas. Bo the weather.com and accuweather.com forcast the rain to end by tomorrow afternoon anyway. Actually it looks like good weather for the competition, not too cold and not too warm. So come on out and have some fun! Bring a chair along with if you are not competing so you can have a seat by the campfire. Remember that www.twelve60.com has all the details! 1260

Cost is $10 to enter the comp. You need to be able to slide a rail safely. If you are looking to learn, we will have a session earlier in the day.

pretty much, yes.... We are working on the new feature which is a 24' flat down box-rail. Check out the latest pics at www.twelve60.com.

Ok, we are ready to build a new feature at Park 1260 for the upcoming Monster Jam. We are looking to build something that will fit into our current support system. So that is 2 adjustable supports basically 12' apart. We can do a single barrel, a double barrel, or a 4" box rail. If we do the box rail we can put in a kink or two. If we do a single barrel we will be more limited on length due to stability. We would like to know what your ideas are... what would you like to see? If we use your idea you will receive a free season pass to 1260. 1260

Hello All, We are having a rail jam this Sunday, May 20th. This will be our setup/cleanup jam and anyone who wants to help can come along. We still need wood chips, so if you can bring them along it would help out a lot. Start time is around 4pm. Please RSVP if you can... PARK1260

Yes, wood chips. We can use as much as anyone can bring. The area we have to cover is about 100 square yards.

We are looking to start the 2007 season later this month. If you are on the list you would have received an email a week or so ago. If you did not, let me know so I can make sure we have the correct address. If you were intersted in checking things out you can contact me here. You can also check out www.twelve60.com or www.myspace.com/park1260 for some pics and vids. New things coming for the beginning of the season: - Completely re-done sub-base, we are trying to add a 4-6" layer of chips under all the carpet. - Additional lighting, we are adding 6-8 more spot lights to properly light the entire runs. - Carpet anchors, these will help to stop the carpet from sliding down the hill and creating wrinkles. New things coming later on in the season: - New feature, have not decided on the final design as of yet.
