http://s302.photobucket.com/albums/nn96/beef5030/ Here is a link that was posted in another forum. The picture quality varies, but it gives some idea of what we've had setup so far this season.

Were you there today? I'm working on building that into a 2-3 jump tabletop line with possibly a "junkyard" type park at the bottom. If you guys have ideas toss them out now!!!

So i'm not really sure if an equation is the best way to gauge park quality...In my opinion the "best" park is one that caters to the wants and needs of its riders. Right now we've got over 30 features set up, but you never know what may be different on any given day. Freshness matters and we listen to people's opinions every day. Park riders have driven our sport to what it is today, and I believe that the best parks are the ones that are built keeping that in mind. Rider feedback is what drives the evolution of our parks throughout the season. If you havent come to check things out this year, I suggest you make a trip soon. And if you dont think that we have one of the best parks in the area, let us know why. -Will

The 3 jump line on Turkey Trot is our "medium" jump line. They are all in the 15-25ft range...not too big not too small.

For those of you who haven't gotten to check out our new setups in the park, here is a rundown of what you'll find... Upper Moore's: -30' flat box -20' flat box -20' step down jump -20' flat box -2 different style barrel bonks Lower Moore's: -20' down rail (flat bar) -20' down box -55' s-box -Hip Turkey Trot: -10'x15'x10' battleship box -3 jump line -C-box -corrugated garden (switched around every day!!) Rhododendron Glen is still waiting on some more snow before we fully create all of the jumps and add in rails. Dont worry though, there are BIG plans for that trail in the near future. I cant wait to get started.

Hey, The parks here at Camelback Mountain Resort are going through a major rejuvenation right now. We're stockpiling snow on Rhododendron Glen and I've got some cool projects that we'll be starting soon. The first two jumps are really fun, but they'll be re-pushed to create the first two piles for our 4 jump line. Another jump will be added before the last booter, expect multiple size (His/Hers) lips on some of them. Upper Moore's is going to be filled up with jibs, along with Lower Moore's and the bottom of Turkey Trot. We have a pipe expert in for a couple days to help us get the Oak Grove halfpipe in pristine competition shape. It is a time consuming project but it should be open by the weekend. If you guys have any feedback or ideas let me know. You never know, if someone catches my attention with a cool feature you may see it set up soon. I hope you're all enjoying your season. -Will

Everyone here at Camelback has been hard at work getting the mountain in gear for the holidays. We now have Rhododendron Glen, Upper Moore's, and Lower Moore's open with freestyle features. Dont be suprised to see Park Crew out and about spicing up the slopes with their own creative bonks and jibs. Our goal is to create a fresh, fun park that keeps everyone happy...So feel free to give us your ideas, advice or suggestions. Kraig (the new groomer operator) started pushing out the large halfpipe and it looks like we'll have it open by Christmas. His hard work shows a lot and we would be nowhere this season without his skills in the machines. The new Bison X is amazing and we've been enjoying testing its awesome capabilities. I cant wait to see what Kraig can do once he is completely comfortable in the machine.

Yesterday we added an urban round bar and today the crew added 2 butter boxes and a small jump to upper moore's. The small jumps on Rhodo have been pushed together into a 3 jump line and we're cooking up some ideas for this week. Hope everyone is having fun so far. The snowmakers are working hard and we should be able to expand the freestyle terrain very soon. Get out and enjoy some of the best early season conditions Camelback Mountain Resort has ever had!! -Will

Hey guys and gals, Just wanted to let you know that we've been busy pushing out the piles on tubing for this weekend. It looks like we'll have a real fun park setup for you tomorow. Expect 5-6 jibs and maybe some air time... Saturday and Sunday we will be running the magic carpet and Thanksgiving weekend we'll have the resort open. The new snowmaking equipment is awesome and I cant wait to see how much MORE snow we have by the 28th. -
Hey guys, We will be opening a terrain park in the tubing facility this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm. I spent most of the day prepping features and the snowmaking department has been putting up new Turbocristal guns all over the place. I cant wait to see them in action this week. We should have a better idea of what features will be setup as the week goes on...Any requests?

We are very satisfied with the quality of all the planet snow features so far (they have round coping by the way). Yukon and I cant wait for some snow to start setting them up. The complete list of our new planet snow features is on the first page of this topic. I'll start posting some more pictures of stuff you'll see in the park soon...
