  1. cause some liberal douche yelled at me? crazy part is i did the mature and responsible thing and put it out, waited for him to leave, and re-lit it. ive been mad ever since that i did not flip out on him like i did the patrollers at JHole. being responsible is alot less fun than flipping out
  2. dude was like "Don't you know National Forests are smoke free!?" joke is on him, cause by this time next year Trump will have dismantled the National Forest system and the EPA. "And you can tell them, to go fuck themselves." -President Donald J. Trump
  3. im still pissed that piece of shit employee gave us attitude for smoking cigs in the middle of the fucking woods. imagine if i yelled at a customer on our lot for smoking...i would be looking for a new job. its a damn shame people dont understand the concepts of respect and minding their own fucking business
  4. ya, but both times ive been to snowbird it was bumped up pretty good. more snow and my opinion could change. as of now i like brighton and solitude better than snowbird
  5. absolutely
  6. i was on the internet alot, just not social media
  7. I will see you there in April!
  8. true, but i was at jackson during MLK weekend as well and it was empty as shit, although the tram was down that year. steamboat was least croweded on the weekend, were able to park in the free lot that is walking distance, but during the week had to park and take the shuttle. gondola had 30 minute lift lines til about noon each day
  9. colorado made me appreciate the almost zero lift lines in jackson and big sky. steamboat gondola was 30 mins each morning and lift lines on the lower part of steamboat and vail were 15 mins. upper mountain lifts were fine
  10. big sky had the best condtions of any trip out west ive ever been on
  11. Ive debating which state is better for skiing. not counting laws, aspres ski, travel, etc, just pure skiing. i am pretty torn. while jackson hole is my all time favorite resort, it cannot be denied that colorado and utah are the 2 biggest skiing states in the county. colorado has breck and vail which are sweet (A basin sucks and lacks terrain) but utah has solitude, brighton, and park city/canyons, and snowbird. id rank breck and vail above utah resorts, but after that utah has better resorts. solitude and brighton are both better than steamboat, a basin, keystone, and copper for instance. snowbird is legit when there is fresh snow.
  12. conditions at jackson hole were not bad, there was just no new snow. i dont think id spend more than $40 to ride Abasin, and that is saying alot, cause i spent $30 to ride spring this year. a basin could arguably be the worst mountain ive been to out west out of 7 states and 18 resorts. i was very impressed with both brighton and solitude last season, definetly want to get there again. cheap prices as well ($79 lift ticket at the window)
  13. bad conditions, lack of terrain, small. breck is huge and has everything from goomers to bowls to cliff drops, and thats just counting in bounds. ive had great gate runs there as well. challenging terrain as well. i was debating breck or vail for #1, but breck won out due to more challenging terrain. vail has more bowls and woods, but breck has a decent amount and they are more challenging.
  14. Colorado mountains I have been to ranked: 1. Breck 2. Vail 3. Copper 4. Steamboat 5. Keystone 6. A-Basin (bu but TP4, its the steepest terrain in the area!)
  15. For those of you who have ridden steamboat, what did you think? I thought the mountain was a little too intermediate for me, I was able to ride every trail on the map including the hikeable terrain. when i go out west I assume there will be a handful of runs that I cannot do. woods skiing seemed to be their forte, and their was plenty of it. unfortunately the conditions for tree skiing werent great, but I made do. it was a very enjoyable mountain, but im debating whether i rank copper ahead of it. not sure cause i only got 1 day at copper.
  16. i have had a credit card for 12 years, i have always payed it off in full and on time. never once have i payed less than the statement balance. its how i keep a good credit score. plus, if i dont pay off the statement balance each time, i get charged interest which is just giving my money away
  17. lol at me putting an extra $500 on my credit card after colorado. im considering emailing blue about how this deal discriminates against the economically disadvantaged. im not fortunate or lucky enough to be able to charge things to my card a year in advance
  18. Out of copper, steamboat, and vail, I enjoyed vail the best. I thought steamboat was a little too intermediate for me. I was able to do every trail on the map, even the hike to. Out west, I expect there to be a few runs I can't do at each resort She is doing well but will not be able to ski for at least another month
  19. We hung out with Kelsey from bear creek last night. Good peoples
  20. Pros and cons of trip: Pros: -extremely fun -Colorado is a great state (for the most part) -enjoyable terrain -nice locals such as barb and Lilly who saved us a lot of money. -2 resorts I had never been to -got a Ford Focus as the rental car -8 ski days in a row Cons: -the liberal smugness out here is insane. It's worse than California. Colorado is awesome but it's a damn shame watching the left destroy it -people look at you like you are a leper when you light up a cigarette in public. We got yelled at by a steamboat instructor for smoking cigs in the hike able terrain -worst conditions of any trip I've ever taken out west Overall, a few cons certainly didn't take away from an awesome fucking trip
  21. It wasn't a search, the guy made me prove my back pack fit into a bucket. Said I was lucky he wasn't taking my beer. I was confused cause there was no beer, just a single water bottle lol
  22. Day 6: decent spring conditions, but snow didn't soften up til about noon Day 7: good spring conditions, temps in 60's Day 8: good spring conditions, temps in 50's Day 9: was fortunate to get free passes to vail. Single day tickets are going for $189 at the window. Spent most of the time in blue sky basin. Was all good til the last run when I realized vail is a police state. Bag checks at the gondy, cameras in the gondy, and a sign bragging about the number of passes clipped this season. A damn shame cause vail is awesome Day 10: currently sleeping on a couch in Dillon, fly out in 21 hours
  23. Day 4: second day at steamboat. Of my 14 or so trips out west, by far the worst conditions I have ever ridden. Icy death everywhere. Freeze/thaw was real bad, temps in the 50's during the day and in the high 20's at night but the sun did not come out til 2:00. After 2:00 was spring like Day 5: ditto To be continued
  24. Sorry for no reports, been avoiding the outside world for the past week and a half. Day 1: flew into Denver, crashed in golden at a guy from pa's condo. Got a Ford Focus for the rental car which is exactly what I wanted. It was 75 degrees Day 2: thanks to the kindness of barb, rode at copper for half price. Spring conditions, my first time there. I rank it above keystone but below break and vail. drove through Wyoming I mean north west Colorado. Day 3: first steamboat day, very spring like, temps in the 50's To be continued
  25. Woah relax there buddy, no need to take offense lol. Fuck mad river glen
