Chunky piles. Razors and night weaver were both closed for no apparent reason. -
Weekend roll call thread 2/3-2/4

Rode from 9-1:30 today. Nobody was there. First 2 runs down challenge were best challenge runs of season, then it went to shit. Coming soon was decent. ROTD was raceway to chute. Conditions weren’t that great -
Rode from 9-1 today. Place was empty. Conditions were meh. To quote a legend, “Ice is nice, speed is good!!!!!!!!”

I was stoked to hear hit me baby one more time and genie in a bottle, but very depressed to hear literally the worst song ever made ever…believe by Cher

I’m glad to hear this cause I was worried people would think I’m a Karen if I say something

I need to salute the employee at the gates who had my back and tried to explain it to the lifty, who was having none of it. Keep in mind, the next time they tried opening the gates, the same thing happened again, but this time to the guys on the other end, and the lifty came running out to yell at those guys lol
-
Correct. I was on the chair and it had already left the terminal. An employee literally forced me to jump off the chair and climb back up onto the platform and then made me skate back and go back behind the gates. This was all after another employee had given me the ok to go through the gates and get on the chair (his exact words were “you’re good”.). I’m curious what KSL upper management would think hearing that an employee forced a customer to jump off the chairlift. 2 runs later the lifty said to me that he did it, and I quote, “to keep the masses happy as they were yelling.” I re-iterated with him that another employee had literally told me I could go. 80% of me wants to swallow my pride and let it go, but 20% of me sees the scuff marks on my new pants after having to squeeze through the gates, (since my pass has already scanned initially before he made me go back), and wonders if KSL would be interested in hearing about an employee forcing a customer to jump off the lift after the chair had left the platform and making them climb up from the rocks onto the platform

Ended up riding from 9-12:30, one of the best days of the season

So far Main Street is ROTD. They started building bumps as well. Raceway to chute is also nice
-
Only the quad. Other 2 still on the side. I’ve gotten good at shooting my cup into the ones on the side

Well fuck me, they just closed razors. I was planning on lapping it all morning. At least I got one run lol. 3rd run was paradise, just ok. spot the coffee cup and get a free high five this weekend. 23 for 24 this season

Since yesterday morning had few people, made a last minute decision to come today as I expected few people. So far place is empty. Somehow got first chair and first civilian run on Main Street…pure carpet. Just did a nice run down razors. This is how I remember weekday mornings pre Covid. Probably will be mashed potatoes. “I remember how it used to be.” -Dr Dre

Rode today from 9-1. Fun times and not too crowded. Rained a bit in the morning which was annoying, but no biggie. As C1 said, sixer had some off and on issues. About half off my runs were razors
-
Geez lines out the gates by 11. Times have changed
-
Rode from 8-12, coming soon, lazy, and Main Street were all nice. While lines sucked, the left VIP line on OG sixer was never longer than 5 mins. Eating at Popeyes now

1/20…cold/crowded..lots of PASRs

Part of me thinks blue should have gotten more than 1 top to bottom open after a week of non stop snowmaking, and the other part thinks I’m being a hater. They got razors open, and then some smaller runs like raceway, chute, and come around. Not sure if I am being unrealistic expecting at least one other top to bottom coming into this weekend -
One of the graffiti writers CB hired, “Ader” is one of the biggest snitches in nyc graffiti history lol. Revs and Skuf both served time cause of him. He also ratted on some writers in Japan. however, CB also hired “2esae” who is a nyc graffiti legend, so I guess it evens out lol

4 hour ticket today was only $60, which I feel was pretty low

Fri, sat, sun, and tues is the plan -
Rode with my dad from 10-2. Fun conditions. Razors opened on my last lift ride up so got ROTD last run. My dad plays 6am ice hockey so since I was going with him I played as well before riding. Had set my alarm to 4 am to get to my parents house but woke up at 2:45am and couldn’t go back to sleep. Roads were snow covered leaving hockey and looked like they needed plowing, but weren’t bad at all by the time we got to landsdale. Ended up getting 5 inches in Downingtown. I’m confused if the plowing was good down here or if the snow didn’t really stick to the roads as the day went on, cause the roads were perfect. Always fun riding blue in natural snow, good amount of people there

Rode from 9:30-2:30. Very fun riding natural snow. Like Jlaw said, being in the ambience of natural snow is great. Said hi to toast on the way out. Drive took much longer than usual as lots of traffic on 30 bypass and northeast extension. Roads were surprisingly bad in chester county, surprisingly good in Montgomery county, and ok in Lehigh valley. Luckily the focus is a beast in the snow
