  1. Nope me and snobunski chasing snowbows up nawth
  2. Some years back Blue used to have an annual Bikercross race that I would watch every year. The one year it was snowing pretty good and coming back down the mountain a jeep in font of me slides out and takes out the pole the same way at the curve just uphill from there. I "Oh fuck'd" it around and went back up and watched 2 more poles come down in the rearview, what a day of absolute mayhem!
  3. yea and I'm sure the mechanism required to keep the brake disengaged in tour mode while your lifting your boot would be somewhat fiddly. Now youve got me curious, I'll have to check out those radicals Most tele binding don't have brakes either except for a few and some NTN's for the same reason. edit: don't need brakes if your bindings don't release lol
  4. "can" being the operative word, my guess in real world applications the difference apples to apples is negligible source AI ?!
  5. hmm never really thought about it, do most touring bindings not have brakes?

  25. Set off Saturday morning in search of snow, I was hopeful as I approached my typical go to trail at Weiser SF, trees and ground were covered, unfortunately everything except the trail I was racking my brain trying to think of any mtb/ hiking trails that were close by at elevation. It had been a few years since I rode there but remembered Moosic up by Scranton. Was thrilled to find 18-20” snow and set off up the road to link up with the Blueberry trail. All earnin’ and no turnin’. The heavy snow and tangles of bent over blueberry bushes and saplings made for some slow going. Toughest 2 mile flat ski I’ve ever done but it was good to get out and play in the snow
