  2. it's cuz they typically seed moguls skiers right, them bumps is rithky bidness
  3. never ski'd but mtb'd those trails - would think you'd need 2' base to ski them rocks!
  4. after skiing razors i didn't even ski switchback

  9. fun night, thanks for waiting ridge! quads were on fire after 5-6 runs, digging the stinky setup, worked up a thirst!
  10. since there's no adult racing at blue this year i'm looking forward to a few wednesday slalom and beer nights!

  12. Thursday night, saturday and/or sunday am

  14. Snow was nice, bumps were fun hip felt great! Only saw gss from the lift, had to coach jr's game - no de-booting beer felt unnatural

  18. slalom Wednesdays are fun - $15 club lift tix, $10 unlimited NastyR! a few beers in the lodge (cheaper than blue!) your spoiled being so close, that's easy for me to say since bc is closer to work for me
  19. Jeff set up an eastern pa virtual beer league based on NASTAR scores on any given night - sound like a money maker cha ching!? If not theres always bragging rights and beers!
  20. Platty has sustained steeps t2b but Doug you'd hate the slow lifts
  21. a few years years ago there was a bump line on come around opening day, fun with the slalom skis. what about nightmare bumps? the last few times ive been to elk tunk and a section of cherokee (? skiers left afew runs over fro tunk ?)were bumps
  22. theres awesome bcXcd skiing near both - gore has botheration pond http://www.wildernesspropertymanagement.com/trail-maps--docs.htmland theres tons in the high peaks to check out, hoping to do more of that this winter, so fun!
  23. Mt snow has some fun trees and terrain on the north face and the parks are pretty impressive which give them the advantage, the bars and restaurants are way better than stratton or okemo imo. bromley's got some fun trees and bumps and has that skiing in the sun vibe, everyones happy! Ive nothing against okemo, ive been ther e twice and can't remember one damn thing about the mountain other than being the only 5 dudes there without any kids in tow which says somethingin itself... no comparison... I like whiteface a little more than gore for reasons other than skiing (I have roots and family around there and love the high peaks area), gore's got some great woods and terrain but some of the traverses are a bit of a pain in the ass
  24. this is the okemo target skier - fun place to cruise with the fam for sure. years ago a bunch of friends would do a vt every year and each of us would take turns selecting the mountains so the perpetual intermediates in the group would always choose okemo or Stratton. Good thing is you can always find a seat at the bar at okemo! Stratton is kind like a Disney/mall version of vt, the parking garage is a reall stoke stomper for me, would rather walk two miles through a muddy lot outside. We did southern vt a bunch of years and would rather be at mt snow, bromley and magic
