greek has 3 dedicated on map gladed areas - a low, medium and a new steeper pitched run. some nice off map tree lines too but patrol does enforce off trail and closed trail policy - if you'r poaching you don't want to get caught. will result in a summons and possibly pulled pass. great place and usually great snow except this past year blue had more natty than gp. nice place to get a way from the blue crowds - we have a unit in the new lodge.

10th Mountain Division was the shit! When I was looking for my xcd set up I was googling a lot for for a deal on karhu 10th mtn skis and got intrigued by the items on ebay etc and have since read about and checked out a bunch of pictures, some films clips & whatnot - so badass!

had one of my best surf days at IRI like 10 years ago. went for an early morning bike ride and stopped to watch the waist /chest high glassy lefts rolling in wishing i had a board. a few minutes later a surf school van rolls in loaded with boards and the dude's like sure $10 for the morning sound fair? perfect fun day

nice, pit viper with the old's kool moves! we called 'em outriggers and was a spin off of the skate moves at the time from peralta et al fuck i'm old, the only snowboarding then was taking the trucks off them same decks and waxing em up.

no problem - just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting into before making any plans. I don't consider anything beyond the 'skills for day trips and even find hunter on the bubble. did it many times back in the day but never with kids. heck even weekend trips we did southern vt when the kids were young to limit travel time - just makes logistics that much easier its a bummer greek peak closed yesterday too - tons of snow left and an easy day trip from the valley. great place for kids too!

wouldn't really consider gore day trippable - about the same as mt snow & kmart

learned an interesting factoid the other day - the daks are the only east coast mountains not part of the Appalachians. geologically they're part of the Canadian shield
