terrain is decent, some nice woods and a few steep pitches - non of which can really be seen or sensed form the hotel. the key is the lake effect snow when the machine is pumping, not uncommon to get at least a few inches of fresh every night. much closer than any of the other ny mountains and you can still actually ski there on a weekend day!

Yea excited for the season - new lift, snowmaking upgrades, new groomer, bar renovations, new glade!

yep done saw it on blues facebook a few weeks ago and confirmed. bottom line is there just wasn't enough participation to justify it . last two years weather really sucked for that course, I only ran it 2 days last year and 4 days the year before. as much as I like it, razorback is much steeper than your typical nastar course and I think scared some people away. it was much more successful on raceway but it just doesn't work there anymore with the summit lodge improvements - interferes too much with the burger & beer sales traffic. hopefully there will be some alternate adult citizen race events!?!

Stratton village was 1/3 or so vacant when I was there last year. after being out in the woods all morning on my xc stratton pond tour, the whole parking garage, crowds, village and flat mountain were a real downer - like a bad vermont version of new jersey. thank god beer is good everywhere! -
I miss stoketoberfest. Will hit the ncc ski club warren miller show in a few weeks but not as cool.

Once again our ski club will be offering six visit weekday passes if anyone is interested. 106 bucks gets you a weekday pass valid for six trips anytime Monday through Thursday, except holidays. on the edge of your travel range but my wife loves salters. she has "issues" and they've really helped her out a lot - with the boot fitting ones anyways! I think dalbellos are all they carry though. -

any more chatter on this? was up to watch the enduro while I waited to pick the kiddo up from a beltzville water ski day - conditions were pretty slick so I wussed on riding/racing and hit trex instead. anyhow want to get up and ride for sure one of these days, anybody interested maybe Saturday? AH you know your dying to feed mr Bronson!?

oh that suucks... damn, wouldve be the perfect tool! saturday delivery? i'm on the fence , on one hand sounds like a fun day and feel like i should support it so they continue these events. but the weather looks iffy and i'm not a fun of greasy rocks and it i can't get anyone to commit to going. i see online regostration closes tomorrow night so it'll be a game time decision. anyone else considering going - toast, justo, gsssucks?

fair to midland - food and prices are ok, service, meh. better if really nice out, with a good group of peeps or a good band is playing!
