looks & sounds like a good trip Jeff (except for the boot part) way to git it!
-
frost woods always looks so nice - i was commenting to my buddy on the chair at blue how shitty it looks cuz they just let all the deadfall lay and never dress up any of the excavation, part of that zinc mill / strip mining mentality i guess. hey but it'll all look the same when its covered with snow!

braaaaghh....i remember turning 30 and trading in my gti for a mini van the same week a ski trip to killy sounds waaay better!!!!!

holy shmokes the snow was nice this morning! was running a little slow this morning after the office xmas party got to the lower lot and booted up around 7:50 only to realize i forgot my helmet , didn't even have a hat in the car so went over to the rental shop and they were nice enough to let me borrow one at no cost - thanks guys. on the way over to the chair ran into my neighbor kurt and his son and skiid with them all morning - it was a perfet pace for my modified energy level. lapped challenge mostly which was really nice top to bottom and was holding up real well with 4 runs on lazy mile which was pretty good as well , down lower sidewinder through the ltp - really fun small jump line on the left. saw doug and jeff and i guess it was skiier112 crusing challenge and then doug again on tuts/lazy. never mad it over to barneys as i was content to be mellow cruiser this morning. on the way out got a egg sammich and a coffee from the new mocalattecappucino cabin - i asked if she was sure if blue mountain was ready to swap funnel cakes for cappucinos, she laughed and siad its gonna be a new mountain.....hey if conditions are gonna be like this morning i'll take it!

I was up this morning - the first one scanned in at 7:57 after picking up my season pass. I don't know what all the whining about conditions is for, they were ok until right before 10 but it was raining and foggy. lower main ALWAYS seems to have the worst snow quality, not sure if its the guns there or the way it sits in that gulley that the fog gets it?!?!? i thought the top half of main was actually pretty good and was holding up well even at 10 when i left. the bumps were fun, soft and medium/small - spent most of my 12 runs there with 3 down come around - snow seemed fine on come around and midway...gotta love skiing in the november rain

mbike-ski replied to Robert2's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
after college i lived in new rochelle ny and had a little drivers license "issue". i used to take the commuter train with all my ski sh!t up to to poughkipsie or kingston where my buddy would pick me up. he lived in saugerties just before the windy road up to hunter...what a blast!
