Summer riding plans: Weekly rides at J-burg or Jordan - close and fun JT- this Sunday for the Taylor benefit ride Salisbury - 3-4x, great new trail system built by a dedicated crew of MB's BC - Got to get over there to check it out followed by a few beers and wings Lehigh - 1-2x, kicks my ass but keep going back Locust Lake - 1-2x, great camping and trails French Creek - 1x heard good things, gonna check it out camping Keep records and a journal, although I guess I need a computer for mileage if its gonna mean anything

Man theres a lot of potential for some funny ad campaigns there!

Another option is the club pass, you get 6 trips for $100. There weren't any day restrictions (every Thursday etc.) with the unlimited option. Its a pretty good deal. I think you need a club with minimum 15 members. I'll post the info when I get it next fall - I do this with our church

Hey VTM - I may need to get some pointers or weapons or something...Mrs SnowBunski is a brown belt (Okinawan Shorin-ru) and the kids are green/greeen/ blue. When they first started I thought it was cool, I'd have my own little army - Mikes Militia! But latley I think theyre planning a mutiny!!! Where does one get the DWR stuff - either spray on or wash in? All of the waterproofing in my family's ski clothes is long gone....

My guess is that online shopping and ebay are whats driven mounting prices up to $45-50. Either way your still saving and the shops make a few bucks and every time I go in I buy gloves, wax etc. - everybody wins!

I've had a few at blue...you guys aren't missing anything - small beers for a big price, no flashing( that I've seen or done), the bartenders are pretty miserable (they could be NASTAR gatesetters at camelback)- the only good things are catching the third period of the Flyers and having the NASTAR starter say "Hey #311!"

...and the crowd goes wild!!

Bode lives to ski another day...http://www.usskiteam.com/public/news.php?dId=2&sN=1&aId=2109 I guess his knee his hurting though. I thought the idea of the MB was a place for opinions.. (and have a little fun at Bodes expense). The only hating on here is directed at those with a different opinion?!?!?!

The things that freak me out more than snakes when I'm hiking/biking the trail are hunters/poachers, bears, and naked homeless people!

A good hike is the Appalachian trail right behind Blue, Its fun to do quickly - wouldn't really say "run". Its rocky/hilly and "hopping" them is great cross training for skiing and skating.

I was bitching about a situation on another thread that was just a minor glitch in a great season and its only fair that credit and thanks gets given to....Blue ski school - they did a great job with the kids this year, Tina and the womens clinic instructors- they made a ski animal out of Mrs. SnowBunSki!, Blue and Bear NASTAR setters and starters - for giving that extra energy and making it fun, all the park crues, groomers and everyone else for making the best conditions out of a sh*&T snow season!
